*Ashley's p.o.v*
"Dad, just tell me" I say a little bit concerned.
"Ashley, I have to move away because of work" he says and looks at me. "...and I don't want to leave you here alone, so I want you to come with me."he adds.
"Moving away?" I ask. I really didn't see that coming. "Yes. I know how much you love Canada, your friends and the orphanage, but I want you to come with me. You're the only one that I have... But if you really don't want to, you-" he says.
"No, dad..." I say and he looks down. "I can't loose you too. We're a family. It will be hard for me, but it's worth it if we'll be still together" I say. He smiles wide and hugs me.
I'm not happy, but I'm not sad either. I don't know how I should feel about this. It wont be easy for me to leave Giselle, Maria, the orphanage and Justin. Justin? Haha he'll be leaving soon anyway and I probably won't see him again.
"But dad what about the orphanage and Giselle?" I ask him. "You can visit them anytime you want." He says while smiling.
"Where are we moving?" I ask him. "California" he simply answers. I nodd and turn around to walk upstairs.
"Oh and princess, we're moving in about a week" he says. I turn back to him "That's to early" I say shocked. "I know, but I have my first project already and I have to start as soon as I can" he says. "Okay then" I say and walk to my room.
I let myself fall onto my bed. How am I supposed to feel about this? I'm sad because I will miss everything and everyone, but at the same time it may be my new start? Ughhh
I feel my phone vibrating I look at my phone and see that it's from Giselle.
Giselle: I hope you didn't touch my man haha
Ashley: Oh come on G, shut up haha
Giselle: I'd kill you
Ashley: He still rathers to hangout with me and not you ;)
Giselle: You didn't just say that!
Ashley: Yes, yes I did haha
Giselle: You owe me a pizza.
Ashley: Nothing new or is it? :')
Giselle: Touchè hahaha
Ashley: I have to tell you something. I'll come over to yours tomorrow.
Giselle: What happened to JB?
Ashley: Giselle!!!! Not everything is about him hahaha
Giselle: Okay okay girl, don't kill me. see u tmrrw
I get up and walk to my bathroom. First I remove my makeup than I brush my teeth. I finish and walk to my closet and take an oversized t-shirt. After I put it on I walk back to my bed and jump on it.
I grab my macbook from my nightstand and decide to watch some episodes from my fave show.
-The next morning-
I groan as the light from the window shines brightly at my face, waking me up. Ugh I don't want to get up. I turn away from the light and try to sleep again.
After some minutes I hear my phone ring. Are. You. Kidding. Me?
"What?" I answer the phone. "Wow, hello to you too. I guess someone's not a morning person." I hear Justin's voice. Oh. I didn't think it would be him.
"Oh, sorry. Thought it was someone else...and yes, I'm still kind of tired and I don't really know why." I say, sitting up and rubbing my eyes.
"It's 1pm...and you're still tired? Just wow... and I thought I was a sleepyhead" He says and I hear him laugh.
"Do you have something planned today?" He adds. "No...oh wait, yes. I'm meeting Giselle" I answer him. "And after that?" He asks. "I have time after that" I answer.
"Alright, I'll pick you up at 6, if that's okay with you?" He asks. "That's fine with me" I say. "Nice, see you later" "Bye" I say and hang up the phone.
I get up and walk to my bathroom.
After I took a shower, brushed my teeth, blowdryed my hair and put mascara on, I walk to my closet.
I put some fresh clothes on. I take my bag and my headphones and start walking downstairs.
"Finally sleeping beauty woke up" Maria says. "Oh wait are you leaving already?" She asks when she realized I walk towards the door.
"Yes, I'm going to Giselles house. After that Justin will pick me up" I say and smile at her. "You're always busy lately" she says with a smile.
"Are you jealous?" I say while smiling and hug her. "I mean, maybe. You're like my daughter and you don't even eat here anymore" she says still hugging me. "Aww I will make that up to you, I promise"
Just when I said that I remembered that we're moving to LA and a little bit of a sadness overcame me. I wonder if Maria knows. I hope she won't take it hard, after all she's been like familiy to us for years.
"We need to have our girlsnight some time soon" she says and smiles at me. "Yes, definitely" I say and give her a kiss, ready to walk out the door.
"See you later" I say and step out the house. "Be safe, princesa" she says.
I put my headphones on and start walking towards Giselles home. I tap at 'shuffle' and the first song that plays is 'When I'm Gone' by Anna Kendrick.
Wow, no other song could fit my situation better than this right now. I don't want to get emotional about this moving thing, but I sure as hell know I will miss my people a lot and this place a lot.
Some minutes later I realize I'm already here. I knock the door and the door opens some seconds later.
"Hey, you're finally here... but wait a minute, where is my pizza?" She says and I start laughing. "Hi, let me walk in first, then we can order pizza...again" I say still smiling. I'm going to miss her. Like, a lot.
"Oh yeah right, come im" she says and steps aside, so I can walk in.
We walk to the living room and sit down. I don't know how I should start. I really hope she won't take it hard. I mean of course it's hard, but dad told me I could come whenever I wanted, right?
"G, you remember, yesterday my dad wanted to talk to me?" I start. "Oh yeah. What was it about?" She asks.
"Uhmm... he told me that we're moving away" I say directly.
"Fuck...no"
