Just A Fan?- a Zach Clayton fanfic

Geo is being put into the back of a car and Zach is standing silently beside me. He's fiddling with his bracelet and tapping his foot.
"Babe, it's gonna be okay."
"I know but, but he deserved it. Right?"
"Yes Zach he did, and you shouldn't feel bad."
"But I do..."
I hug him around his waste and he looks down at the pavement.
"Zachhhh, it's okay. Don't get mad at yourself like this. Geo came to you, he was basically waiting for you to hit him." Zach turns and looks at my face.
"I need to at least go check on him. Will you go with me? I don't wanna go alone."
"I don't know, I don't think that's a good idea."
"I have to, I feel terrible."
"Okay Zach. But-"
"Hey, where are they gonna take him?" Weston interrupts.
"The hospital. His eye is busted open."
"Oh." we all stand silently and then Zach pulls out his phone.
"What are you doing?"
"Calling an Uber."
"Make it for two, okay?" I hold his hand.
"Actually, make it three, I'm not gonna let you go without me. You've been there with me through thick and thin and I'm not leaving you now." Weston's voice sounds shaky.
The Uber arrives soon and we ride silently to the hospital.

"He's in the first room to the left. Please be quiet. He just got done getting stitches."
Zach sits down and puts his head between his hands and his arms on his knees. I rub his back and try to calm him down.
"We should go, we really should."
I look at Weston and he nods his head and walks away.
"Babe, it's okay. You don't have to try to cheer me up." he looks at me and I look at him. "I'm so happy I have you. I don't know what I would do if anyone else did." He stands up and grabs my hands and pulls me up into a kiss. "Let's go."

Weston is waiting out side for us.
"Hey, so... what are we gonna do?"
"We're going back to the bus, are you?"
"I guess so, I don't want to be here."
