As Alice navigated away from the crowd of people she looked around the art block to find a way inside the college that wasn’t busy gawking at the new guy (who wouldn't?). She knew she had to find a way to just get a glimpse of him and to make a move to hook him with Scarlett.

Alice remembered the first day she met Scarlett, she was alone and Alice felt as if Scarlett was keeping herself isolated from the world. Alice always thought of how Scarlett always said no to all the guys that asked her out. She knew that with Scarlett violet eyes, hazelnut coloured hair, long legs, the perfect body for a model; she would get any guy she would desire. But she wasn't at all interested in any of those things. Scarlett only focused on her studies. She felt that Scarlett was keeping a secret from her but Alice felt like if she would ask her it would trigger something that would hurt Scarlett; so she decided to wait till Scarlett was ready to tell her herself.

"Alice, where are we going?" Scarlett asked Alice while trying to keep up to her fast pace.

"You'll see,"

Scarlett continued to just follow Alice to whatever her friend was planning. They went through the side entrance of the art block and walked towards the hall that was connected to the main building. The walls were filled with wonderful art works of the students. It was as if they have a story in each painting that was hung and proudly, presented to everyone that passed the hall. The ceiling made of glass was letting the light pour out into that hall so that it wasn’t dark.

As Alice's shoulder length black hair bounced up and down with her fast pace she suddenly asked again on where they were going. Alice looked at her with her brown bright eyes while maintaining her pace.

"Were just going to the main building,"

"Why?"

"I just need to do something," Alice said cheerfully.

As Alice dragged Scarlett all the way to the door of the main building she began to smile cheerfully of the thought of what's going to happen when her plan succeeds. Scarlett might enjoy herself more and be happier. Alice let go of Scarlett's hand when they were near the main office if the main building. She knew the new guy would be there to get his class schedule and there he was talking to the receptionist. Alice looked at Scarlett and just realized that Scarlett was looking at her.

"So what do you need to get?"

Alice thought of a great way to make Scarlett go in the main office and meet the new guy and vice versa. If it was her lucky day today this might even be a start of a great relationship between them, (if things work out). So Alice carefully thought of a way to make Scarlett go inside and make her plan work; and she knew just the thing she needed to say.

"Scarlett can you go the main office and get me a copy of my class schedule? I lost it and I need a new one but I really have to go to the toilet. "

Scarlett studied her friend carefully and before she can give her answer to Alice's favour, Alice suddenly said, "Thanks!" and she ran straight and headed towards the toilets.

What the hell is she up to?

Scarlett thought of every possible reason on why Alice was acting weird today but couldn’t thought of anything, so she just did what Alice asked her to do and went inside the main office. The room was, as always quite with the light tapping of the key board and the sound of the fan, the colour of the walls and the ceiling were white with a bit of black o colour in the corners and the four leathered chairs were backed up in the wall neatly.

As her gaze turned towards the receptionist she suddenly realized that the receptionist was busy talking to someone. She didn’t look much at the guy who was talking to the receptionist but she suddenly realized that it might be the new guy that arrived earlier. She studied him, thinking on what made him so famous towards the whole student body. He was an inch taller than her and his body was well built. He had dark brown hair and he was wearing jeans and a shirt that fit him perfectly and a black leather jacket. She tried to see what his face looked like but she couldn’t see it because he was facing the receptionist. So she decided to look away, just sit and patiently wait for the receptionist to be finish talking with him.

Then she heard the reception say, "Everything is all set. Here is your class schedule for the year and if you decide to change your mind about any of the subjects please let us know so we can change as soon as possible." Scarlett stood up taking that as a signal that the receptionist is finished talking with the new guy. She looked up to see the receptionist and was startled on what she saw. The new guy was staring at her, with those same forest green eyes that triggered all those memories she wanted to forget but couldn’t. He couldn't be Adrian; could he? But she just wanted to make sure.

"Excuse me, can I ask your name?"

The new guy shooked himself for a second, and looked at her. With his expressionless eyes he answered her question.

"I am not obliged to tell you who I am unless I want you to know it."

Scarlett knew it wasn't him. He was dead and he will never come back. If he is alive, he wouldn’t be him. Scarlett felt all those emotions she felt when she heard the news about Adrian slap her again. Adrian was nothing like him. He wasn't cold and the guy in front of her certainly was. He expressed it very well with those expressionless eyes of his.

"Sorry," Scarlett apologized and she left the main office in a hurry, her emotions swirling all around like a storm.
