As Derek sat in the black Lamborghini he wondered on what will happen when he arrives at the new college his father told him to attend. It was the best school they can find that had all the best facilities and subjects. He was going to take business and photography, which his father isn't at all surprised at. He examined the picture of the school within the leaflet as well as a map given to him by his father's secretary earlier that morning.

The college was nice and spacious with a large forest surrounding it. There five buildings that was labelled. The Business building was near the main subject's building which was maths and English. The Main Building was in the side of the school and beside it were the Art and the Theatrical building. The Art building was for students who studied painting, sculptures, designing and photography. The Theatrical building held the hall and gym and classrooms for those who were studying drama, film, and theatre.

"Sir we are arriving shortly,"

Derek looked up from the leaflets and maps to look at the window. He was starting to see the wall that surrounds the school and in about ten seconds he saw the college gates. He could see a crowd of students gathering in the sides of the open gates, in seconds the car entered the college.

The car got through smoothly in the crowd of people and safely parked in front of the main office building. Derek gathered his back pack and picked up the leaflet and map. He got out of the car and breathed the fresh air of the campus. He was slowly observing the surroundings; there were lots of trees, benches, and the newly built main building in front of him. Then he looked towards the crowd of people slowly separating to go do their own stuff and is headed in the opposite direction on where he was; and he was glad for it.

As he looked back towards the main building two figures caught his attention. A girl with shoulder length black hair was and was wearing a shirt and skirt was dragging another girl. When he saw her he looked familiar, her long wavy brown hair, perfect lips and bright violet eyes. She was wearing skinny jeans and a white shirt with a black cardigan. Why was she so familiar to him? He thought on where he might have seen her, but he can't remember. He shook himself and just told himself that she must have looked like someone he knew so he just let it go and began walking toward the doors to the main building.

After he passed the hall way towards the main office which was decorated with certificates and students works he went inside the main office and walked towards the lady with glasses.

"Excuse me I'm Derek Cortez. I'm here to pick up my class schedule and my ID,"

The woman at the reception looked up and Derek read the name tag she had on. Her name was Mrs. Reels. She was about forty years old, has blue eyes and she wears glasses. Her hair was done up in a bun that showed her bits of grey hair.

"Oh, you’re the new student aren’t you?"

"Yes Mam,"

"Call me Ms. Reels," She looked around her and told Derek, "I'm just going to get your class schedule and ID. Can you wait for a moment?"

"Yes,"

"Great."

And with that Ms. Reels stood up from her chair and walked away, after a while she came back with a bright yellow paper, a lot of papers and an ID on top. She looked through it one last time and handed him the stack of papers.

, "Everything is all set. Here is your class schedule for the year and if you decide to change your mind about any of the subjects please let us know so we can change as soon as possible."

Derek nodded and headed towards the door, but he stopped halfway as his gaze landed on a girl sitting in one of the leathered chairs. Suddenly she stood up and her eyes saw his. He stood there gazing at her violet eyes for a second. He saw happiness then sadness and hope, with other feelings that flicked in her eyes. He felt somehow familiar with her but then thought of it as impossible; he had never met this girl before, so how could it be? He shaked his head for a second, as if it were to bring back reality.

"Excuse me, can I ask your name?" The girl asked.

Then back at her with expressionless eyes and he answered her, "I am not obliged to tell you who I am unless I want you to know it," and he saw sadness and the lost of hope in her eyes.

Why did he feel this familiarity with her?

Why was he so bothered with her expression?

The girl looked at him one last time before she said "Sorry," and left him there.
