"Come to California with me!" I took Eleanor's hand as we stood in the dim light of the kitchen. Her hands perfectly manicured with white nail polish that had been carefully painted onto her nails.

Liam had fallen asleep in his bedroom and Louis was out for the night. I had invited Eleanor over again to hang out with me, I wanted more alone time with her. Ever since that little kiss in the park my feelings had only bloomed. She completely consumed my thoughts, something no other girl had done.

"We can't just up and leave to California!" Her smile curling up in the light of the dim kitchen. The only light coming from the open refrigerator that I hadn't shut.

"Why not? Come on, it will be an adventure!" I enticed pulling her into me while I danced playfully with her in the refrigerator light. She looked perfect in my grey t-shirt that was oversized on her smaller body. Her hair hung in a high ponytail, a few pieces strayed from the rest to frame her face.

"We can't just leave on a whim. Plus we don't even know if Keira is there, also I'm not made of money." Eleanor admitted even though I didn't find this as a surprise. We were both college students and I knew our financial situations perfectly. In reality we couldn't afford to up and leave to California but I wanted to, I wanted to believe it was a possibility.

"It could work, we could go on our great adventure we always talked about as kids. Remember how we said we would one day solve a great mystery?" I asked her dancing in the refrigerator light. My arms fastened around Eleanor's waist while she clasped her hands around my neck.

"We were kids then." She told me while we danced in the small space that the kitchen gave us. It was nice to have my arms around her like they were.

"We can be kids again." I gave her a smile just to hear her little giggle erupt from her.

"I don't think you ever grew up anyways." She giggled causing me to pick her up while she squealed trying to kick her legs when I threw her over my shoulder.

Carrying her to the couch I laid her down and saw her little dimples form in her smile. She bit her lip as she looked at me who was hovering over her on the couch. Nobody was perfect but Eleanor was perfect to me. I would want nothing more then for Eleanor and I to get away of an adventure to California. Not only would it be the perfect time to spend every moment with her but we would also be solving my life's mystery. I had to know more about Keira and how this all went down, I want to know every detail from start to finish.

"Shouldn't you be going to bed? You have a game tomorrow, you need to be well rested." Eleanor bit her bottom lip while a smile curled on the ends of her lips. The living room dark but light enough for me to see her features.

"Stay the night." I urged her giving her a smile of mine hoping she would accept the invite. I could only think about our kiss in the park. It had come so unexpected yet neither of us minded at all. If anything it had made me crave her even more.

"I shouldn't, I have class tomorrow morning." She told me as we were only inches apart from each other now. The heat was building between us and if it were up to me I could burn in it all night.

"Come on, I need some company!" I whined moving in closer hoping that she would make the last move till our lips met. Her's were like soft rose petals when they touched mine, the natural pink of them enticing me further.

Letting her come the rest of the way her lips grazed mine. Staying there I felt her kiss me back while I hovered over her, letting herself melt in the kiss. She felt like home to me and that was something I had never felt before. None of the other girls I had been with gave me the same feeling as Eleanor, she had made me realize what I was missing. Maybe I was trying to find something in other girls that I didn't even know I was looking for.
