"Kim sure ka na ba sa gagawin natin?" bigla akong napahinto habang naglalakad kami papunta sa sasakyan ko.
Long weekend holiday ngayon kaya naman naisipan ni Kim na umuwi sa Batangas to spend some time with her family. Matagal tagal narin siyang hindi nakauwi sakanila kaya her family really insisted that she goes home this time. So Kim saw this as an opportunity para formally na ipakilala na niya ako sa buong family niya. Well, I met almost all of them na because they sometimes go here in Manila to watch our games, but Kim wants to formally introduce me as her girlfriend. Yes, girlfriend na niya ako. It hasn't been that long naman. 4 months to be exact but only her older sister Ate Rossan knows about us.
"Oh ano nanaman yan?" she wrinkled her face as she sighed. "Diba napagusapan na natin to?"
"Oo nga." sagot ko naman. "Pero hindi ko alam eh, parang hindi pa ito yung time."
Biglang naglakad si Kim papunta sa side ko ng car which is the driver seat.
"Oh sige, pag isipan mo yan while I'm driving." sabay kuha niya sa kamay ko yung susi. "And if you think hindi ka pa ready pagkatapos ng 2 hours na biyahe, babalik tayo dito sa Manila."
Kim gave me a smile as if she's waiting for me to give her one too. Like what her smile always does to me, it made me calm. Kaya naman I couldn't help myself but to smile back at her. With this, she took a step closer to me and pressed a light kiss on my forehead.
"Oh ano, okay na?" she asked me after that.
Of course Kim knew exactly what to do to make me feel better. In return, I gave her a gentle yet passionate kiss in the lips. Nagulat siya but eventually she kissed me back.
"I love you." I told her as we pulled away.
"I love you more Cyd." she reassured me as I made my way to the other side of the car.

We finally arrived here in her hometown. Habang nasa daan kami papunta dito, napag isip-isip ko na it would not be that bad kung makilala ko na talaga yung family niya. We've been teammates for 4 years now and for the first time ay makakapunta ako sa bahay nila. Finally I get to see a glimpse of Kim's childhood. I know almost everything about her now but seeing it would be a whole other experience for me.
Their house is pretty big. Medyo luma na but it looks like a ton of memories of Kim were experienced here. Mahahalatang volleyball has been in her life since she was a kid dahil may sarili silang volleyball court dito in their backyard.
Kim took my hand and led me to the door of their house. I took a deep breath before composing myself and put a smile on my face.
"Ma, Pa." Kim knocked on their door.
"Oh, relax ka lang ha." she teased me. "Mamaya mautal utal ka dyan habang kinakausap mo sila." she laughed at me this time. "Wag pa obvious."
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes at her. Bully talaga si Kim.
Without another word, the locks from the door are sounding and soon enough the door infront of us opened. Yung mom niya ang nag bukas nito and from her looks ay nabigla siya ng slight.
"Oh Cyd!" agad niyang bati sa akin as she leaned in closer to me for a hug bago pa man niya pinansin ang sariling anak. "Sumama ka pala kay Kim."
Nakipaghug ako sa mom ni Kim in return. Before I could even speak, biglang sumingit si Kim.
"Hi Ma, ako yung anak mo oh. Si Kim." she sarcastically reminded her mom.
Syempre agad namang yinakap rin ni tita si Kimmy. With this I quickly slapped her arm and asked her kung sinabi ba niya sa family niya na kasama niya ako ngayon. She just shrugged as a reply.
