I felt someone shaking my leg that woke me up from my nap. Kakarating ko lang dito sa dorm galing ako sa Batangas dahil first day na ng term namin bukas. I drove by myself kaya medyo napagod ako. As I opened my eyes, I saw Kianna standing at the edge of my bed still shaking my leg.
"Ate Kimmy." she tried to say my name as mellow as possible.
Inalis ko yung pillow na nakatakip sa face ko.
"Ah.." I forced a syllable out of my mouth.
"Ate Kim someone's looking for you down stairs."
Biglang nagising yung diwa ko when Kianna said that. This is surprising for me dahil wala namang masyadong dumadalaw sa akin dito sa dorm. I actually don't let my friends go to our dorm. I slowly sat up from the bed.
"Ha?" I looked up to Kianna. "May naghahanap sa akin?"
"Yes ate."
"Sure ka bang ako hinahanap?" napakamot ako ng ulo. "Did you ask her name?"
"Cydsomething ata, or Chi." she tried to remember.
That name didn't ring a bell for me.
"Basta ate she asked me to tell you na she's the girl from the bar."
The girl from the bar.
Cyd.
Suddenly a smile crossed my face.
"Uy uy." agad na asar ni Kianna. "Looks like someone special ha Ate Kim."
"Grabe siya." I laughed slightly. "Cyd." I said her name aloud and it sounded right and at same time it sounded good. Suddenly the flashbacks start to hit me.

As our usual Thursday night goes, we are out and about. It's been a hell of a week in our acads life that is why this is a much needed destressing for all of us. This is also our last day together before our month long term break. Bukas ay uuwi na kami sa kanya kanyang bahay. We all started with one, then two, and as the time went by, we stopped counting. Hindi naman sa nagpapakalasing kami, we all know how much drinks each of us could handle. But since tonight I'm the designated driver for the 5 of us, I only had two drinks. For as Yeye, Ara, Carol and Mok, hinayaan ko nalang silang magpakasaya.
Being the designated driver, I am also their designated "waiter".
"Oh, last round na to ha." I stole my friends' attention as I stood up from our table. "Who wants their last drink?"
"What?" Napalakas na tanong ni Carol who is obviously the most wasted one from the group. "We only had what.. 4--"
"Tingnan niyo nga talaga tong si Carol." I laughed. "Di na nga alam mag bilang, umi English pa."
"Englishera naman talaga yan eh." Mok answered me. "Ako Kim, pa isa pa. I just need one more to forget about that damn finals."
Napatawa nalang ako as I gave her a nod.
"Kimmy how about you, why aren't you drinking?" tanong ulit ni Carol as she snaked her arm around my waist and rested her head on my stomach dahil nakatayo ako sa tabi niya. "You look sad, you wanna share us what's up?"
"Hoy." suway ko sakanya at inalis ko yung kamay niya sa akin. "Patahanin niyo nga ito at kukuha na ako ng drinks."
I looked at Ye and Ara.
"Kayo?"
"Ako isa pa." sagot ni Ara. She holds her beer better than everyone else. Kaya naman ngayon ay mukha parin siyang chill.
