"AWW, THEY ALL LOOK SO CUTE TOGETHER!!!" I heard a female voice screech from the door way to our room, jarring me violently from my previously peaceful sleep.
I heard shifting from the bed and sleepy groans of confusion, that were probably from Kai, and Zero's morning voice letting out a steady stream of muffled and drowsy curse words.
I let out a huff of annoyance and turned over on my side away from the noise. I had no idea what I was sleeping on but it was warm and easy to curl around and I was comfortable as fuck so I wasn't trying to question it too much.
"Nevah, turn back around! C'mon! GUYS, YOUR RUINING THE KODAK MOMENT!"
"HYUNA," Zero said, losing her cool completely, "IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR SENTIMENTAL ASS OUT OF THIS ROOM WITH THAT GODDAMN CAMERA! WE'RE TRYING TO FUCKING SLEEP!"
Meanwhile, my eyes had popped wide open as soon as I heard camera, because I knew damn well she wasn't taking any pictures of me. And that's when I happened to see the position I was in.
My head tucked into the crook of Minseok's neck with my legs around his waist, my arms thrown around him, and his arm slung haphazardly around my own waist. I froze, not daring to move and cause any unnecessary attention to this position that we'd migrated in throughout the night.
It hadn't been like this when we went to bed last night. Minseok and I had fallen asleep on my bed on our respective sides. But apparently I got cold and latched on koala-bear style to the nearest heater I could find.
Which just so happened to be Minseok.
In my near-unconscious state of sleep, common sense didn't have the chance to kick in and remind me that I was getting myself in this position with a guy I'd just meet a few hours ago.
Peeking over at Kai and Zero, I was slightly relieved to find that they didn't look any more kosher than we did.
Zero was straight up laying on top of him with her legs in between his. Kai's height allowed him to rest his chin comfortably onthe crown of her head and his arms were wrapped kind of possessively around her but I'm pretty sure she was too busy sulking over being woken up to notice.
A few minutes after we'd succeeded in getting Hyuna out, we heard a knock on the door and Ilhoon's voice telling us that even though she got side-tracked, Hyuna's original purpose in coming up here was to tell us that we were going to get breakfast so we needed to get dressed.
Zero and I groaned but reluctantly got up.
Minseok stretched while Kai checked his phone before looking back at us. "We're going to go home and take a shower and stuff then meet you guys at IHOP."
"See ya later then." Zero and I said simultaneously, flashing them the peace sign as they left before turning back to our dresser tops to find all of our toiletries.
Zero and I had one bathroom to share between the two of us that was across the hall and I used it first, taking my usual two minute shower before brushing my teeth and putting on lotion and perfume (both Zero's.)
I came back to our room and Zero went to take her shower.
Her phone was connected to the soundbar and Spotify was on.
I danced around the room to Ringa Linga as I put on my clothes, a black muscle tee that said Gosh, being a princess sure is exhausting, a pair of ripped black cutoff shorts, and my black and white plaid Converse.
I put my choker on and reapplied my blush and lipstick, not bothering with the eyeliner or mascara since it was still fine from yesterday.
When Zero exited the bathroom, she put on her clothes and put her red hair up in a bun.
Both of us were still a bit sleepy, so we were in even less of a talking mood than we normally were.
It was silent save for the music as she put my long cobalt hair into a side fishtail and then arranged my beanie on top of it.
We all just decided to go in Ilhoon's car on the way to IHOP.
Everybody was pretty chill on the way there. No arguing or screaming or someone doing something stupid. Just Hyuna and Ilhoon whispering secretively in the front and Zero and I in the back listening to music.
When we got there, however, it was no longer chill. Because not only was Jinyoung, Kai and Minseok sitting in the booth but our parents were as well.
We instantly knew this was Hyuna's doing and while Zero had to be restrained from tackling her to the floor, I stood there wondering what the hell I did to deserve this.
