Happy summer

chapter 6

     Now the next day Rory was gonna have a busy day on hand just like her mom. They both got out of bed around 7 am to get things started. They loved to start things early in this house🏠 and get the things they needed done. They both met in the kitchen once they got dressed and ready with what they will be needing. The coffee☕ was making when Rory came out of the room to get her cup☕. She was just finishing pulling up her hair as she was walking over to grab one. Her mom was over by the toaster when she looked over to see where she was. Soon as the coffee☕ was done Rory poured the coffee☕ for both of them and grabbed her cup☕ to sit at the table. Her mom gave her her pop tart, so she can start eating it. This morning Lorelai had no time to stop at the diner to get anything from Luke. She will have to stop in later to see him. Rory was gonna go in town for today. She was probably gonna stop and see Lane, might run into Jess, get a hold of Paris like she was suppose to and go somewhere in town to read. Once she got done eating breakfast🍳 she grabbed her messenger bag to get ready to leave the house🏠. Her mom was just getting ready to leave as well. 

Lorelai- So, where are you headed off to today?

Rory- I'm going into town for a while. Have a busy day there today. I will meet you back here in time to go to the grandparents house🏠.

Loriali- Do you need me to take you?

Rory- No I'll walk. I don't want you to be late for work.

Loriali- Ok!!! I'll see you back here then. 

Rory- I think you forgot I got that car for graduation from Grandma and grandpa.

Loriali- Yeah, I did for a second there.

Rory- Brain fart. ( Rory starts to laugh )

  Rory had all she needed for the day, so she headed out the door and started to head into town of beautiful " Stars⭐ Hollow. " She loved to go into town and be around everyone. There was always something to do or something to keep you entertained. Someone always did something. Mrs. Patty the town gossiper always came around to tell you something if you are in the right place at the right time in town. Soon as Rory hit into town she walked🚶 towards Lane house to talk to her for a few minutes She was hoping she was up early today to start her day. Mrs. Kim didn't open the shop up til 9 pm , so they won't be having any customers, yet. Rory opened the gate to the little white fence they had in front of their yard by the sidewalk and walked🚶 up to the door and knocked on it. Just a few seconds later Mrs. Kim answered the door. 

Mrs. Kim- Hello, Rory. Lane is in her room. You may go up and see her.

Rory walked into the house and up the stairs to Lane's bedroom door. She knocked on it before entering into it.

Lane- Come in.

Rory walked inside the room. Lane was surprised to see her here this early in the morning.

Lane- What are you doing here this early?

Rory- I came into town to start my day out. You know how I like to get things done and have much as I can done in one day.

Lane- Yeah, that's true. What have you got planned here in town for today?

Rory-  Well, I wanted to stop by and see you since i am in town, read by the kazeebo, might run into Jess, and go to the bookstore to get a book to read and get a hold of Paris before I have to go back to the house to go to friday night dinner at the grandparents. They won't let us out of this one, When we go on this vacation we will be getting out of two of them, so we have to go to everyone of them till it is time to go on it.

Lane- That's a lot to do in one day. Hope you get to do all of this by the time you have to meet your mom.

Rory- That's why I am here in town this early to get things started. But, if I wanna get things done I better start walking over to the bookstore. It's almost 9 am and I wanna be the first in there to get a book📔.
