chapter 28

At Lorelai's condo

      Lorelai went to get Luke and pull him aside because she had some good news to tell him. When she saw him she was happy and had a ☺ on her face. He was wondering why she did. 

Luke- Why are you happy😄 and have a ☺ on your face for?

Lorelai- Because I have to tell you something about Jess.

Luke- What would that be?

Lorelai- He came to the condo🏬 this morning and pulled me out into the hallway to talk to me.

Luke- What about?

Lorelai- He pulled out an engagement/ wedding ring💍 from a bag👜 and told me he went to the boardwalk to get it. He is gonna propose to Rory today and he wanted to make sure he asked me if it would be ok if he did. Then they will get married👰 before the vacation was over here since all the closest people to Rory are here.

Luke- Wow!!! I didn't see that coming at all. This should be good for them. I like Rory a lot and would like her to be part of the family👪. 

Lorelai- That's good you think that. I think you should contact him and let him know you are on his side, so he knows you're ok with this if Rory says yes to him. 

Luke- That's a great idea. I will do that right now before they do anything he is planning today.

Lorelai- I will leave you to do that right now and then I will see you in the living room when you are done talking to him to see what you have to say about the phone📱 call. 

Luke- OK

After they got done talking Lorelai left the bedroom, so Luke could talk to Jess alone in private.

The phone call

     Luke dialed Jess's cell phone📱 and it rang🔔. Jess Heard his phone📱 ringing🔔 and went to answer it on the deck of their condo🏬 to see what Luke wanted.

Jess- Yes, Luke what do you need?

Luke- I heard you are gonna propose to Rory tonight.

Jess- I take it Lorelai told you what's going on.

Luke- Yes, and congradulations. Hope it works out for you tonight.

Jess- Thanks!!!! I hope so, too. Well, gotta go got to get to the plans now.

When they got done talking Jess went back out to start his day with Rory. 

     Soon as Rory got done getting ready her and Jess finally left the condo🏬 for the day. Rory couldn't wait to see what Jess has planned for the day. He wanted to drive to all the destinations that were gonna happen for the  day. Before they got into the car🚗.Jess talked to her.

Jess- Hey, I need to drive today. I want to be able to take you to where I wanna go. Everything we do today is secret till we get there. I wanna surprise you with this special time we are gonna have here.

Rory- That's fine if you wanna drive today and surprise me along the way. I'm up for whatever you got planned  here. I have my beach👙 wear and I am dressed nice just in case of anything here.

Jess- Ok then. We should get started here since it is now 12 pm.

Rory- Ok 

So, with that they were on their way to the first place he had planned for the day.

      Meanwhile, Lane and Paris was on their way down to the beach🌊 to hang out for a while. They wanted to have a relaxing day since it was such a beautiful day out. they grabbed their bags👜 and their beach🌊 chair that they rented for the time they were gonna be there. Soon as they grabbed everything they both walked down to the beach🌊 and looked for a good spot to set everything up. About 10 mins later they both found a good spot to set up and start to relax and hang out together. As they were sitting there some guy came up to Paris and started to talk to her.
