Happy summer

Chapter 14

      Everyone was excited about today because they were finally gonna have the meeting that they have been wanting to have for a while since they decided on doing this whole vacation thing here. Plus, Lane wanted to try to get things moved in as well. She was all packed up to get things done. All she had to do was get a hold of Rory to ask for a favor before she can do so. Just hoping it could be done when she asks. She called Rory before she went to work, so she don't have to contact her  when she got to the bookstore.

     Rory was up out of bed getting ready to be leaving the house when she heard her phone📱 go off. She went to the bedroom to see who would be calling her this early in the morning.  She looked and saw that it was Lane, so she answered it to see what she would be needing right now.

Rory- Hey , Lane.  What's up right now? You usually don't call this early in the morning unless something is wrong. 

Lane- I need you to ask Jess if he could help me move the stuff I have into the house🏠 today. 

Rory- I will see what I can do and get back to you before I go to the bookstore.

Lane- That sounds good. 

They both got off the phone and Rory got her stuff to head straight to the diner.

       Rory got out of the car🚗 soon as she pulled up to the diner and went right inside to talk to Jess. Jess saw her walk🚶 in quick today. He was wandering what was going on because she had sometime before she had to be at work. He waited for her to get to the counter to talk to him. When she got to the counter she kissed him before she did anything.

Jess- Why are you in such a hurry for this morning? It's not even time for you to go into work just, yet.

Rory-I know, but I have a favor to ask you and that is why I am in a hurry right now before I go in.

Jess- Ok!!! What's the favor you have to ask me.

Rory- Lane, wanted me to ask if you and Luke could help her take her stuff to the new house she is renting t here in town. She wanted help today?

Jess- Let me see what Luke has to say real quick and I will let you know.

( so, Jess went to talk to Luke and see what he would have to say about helping Lane today.)

Rory waited for him to talk to Luke about this and then tell her what's going on here. About 5 mins later he came back to talk to Rory with an answer.

Rory- So, what did Luke have to say?

Jess- He told me we can help her for a little bit today. He wants to be back here to make sure the place is ok before we go to your house📱 after you and your mom get off work. Tell Lane we will be right over soon as Luke talks to Caeser about this.

Rory- Ok, I will let her know and then head right to work. See you later. 

Jess gave her a kiss and then she went back to Lane's house real quick. She ran up to the house🏠 and Lane was down in the shop picking out a couple of things she wanted from the sale items here mom was letting her have. She saw rory and went to find out what's up.

Lane- So, what did Jess say?

Rory- They are on their way over to help you move for a little bit today, but they won't be able to stay too long, so get all the furniture and big things done first, so in case they leave you won't have to use the truck🚛 and I will help you later with what's left. 

Lane- Sounds like a good idea. Maybe I should get Dean to help as well. He can help lift things. I'll call him.

Rory- That would be a good idea. Gotta get to work. Pick you up after work to go to my house🏠 for the  meeting.
