chapter 34

    Now today was the day that everyone is going back to their " Stars ★ hollow " life they have. Michel was gonna be so excited to see Lorelai and Sookie back at the inn. He has been in stress mode since they both left him for the vacation. Caesar was loving that he was in charge of the dinner because he got to run it the way he wanted to. Andrew was already glad Rory was back in town now and the store could be back the way it was. The towns people liked her working there. The only thing she was gonna have to worry about at the moment is how to tell the town that her and Jess are married. She might have to go talk to Taylor about making the announcement at the town meeting coming up on Friday. She will have to talk to Jess about it and see how he would feel about it when they get off work this afternoon.

   Today was gonna be the first day back at their jobs and everyone is gonna be happy☺ to see them. The whole twin was gonna be happy☺ to see them as well. They were loved in the town and when they go away and come back the town gets excited. The girls brighten the town and they couldn't wait to see what they do next. They always join in on the town things they have and never miss anything unless they have something that they can't get out of.

    They all were up getting ready to go to work now, so they won't be late for the things they needed to do. Plus, they need to readjust to all this work again since they were off for two weeks and didn't have to work. It shouldn't take them long at all. While, Rory and Jess was in her room getting ready she talked to him.

Rory- Hey!!!

Jess- What's up?

Rory- Need to talk to you when we get off work today.

Jess- Is everything OK?

Rory- Nothing at all. Just talk about it when we get off work.

Jess- OK

They both finished getting ready now to go to work.

   Luke was gonna take the stuff they had back to the dinner apartment when he got ready for work. Jess was gonna ride in town with Rory when she left for work. Lorelai couldn't wait to get back to the inn to see what Michel was up while she was gone. Sookie was gonna meet her there when she was ready to go in. As Lorelai was getting ready Luke left to go back to the diner. It was 8 am and he has been away too long and Caesar was in charge long enough. He was going the customers don't have any complaints when he arrived. He kissed💋Lorelai and told her he would see her later and that there was coffee☕ in the kitchen for her. She was happy☺ to get some before she left. Rory and Jess was leaving, too because Rory had be at work by 9 am.

   In the meantime, Lane was at her house she was renting getting ready to go to work at the music🎶 store. She couldn't wait to get back to the job she loved. Before she went to work she stopped at her mom's house🏠 to talk to her. She was actually gonna be happy☺ to see her for once. She wanted to see how she was doing since she was gone. She didn't hear from her since she left. It was a shock. She got in her car🚗 and head straight to her mom's house🏠. When she got to her house🏠 she was getting things ready to open the shop and she saw Lane pull up. She got happy☺ to see her now.
Lane parked the car🚗 and walked up to the house. Soon as she got up to it her mom gave her a hug and they started to talk for a few minutes.

Mrs Kim- How was your vacation?

Lane- It was good , Momma. I had a great time and we stayed safe the whole time we were there.

Mrs Kim- That's good to hear that. Did you get pictures?

Lane- Yes, I'll show you when I get them. Thought you would call me while I was there.

Mrs Kim- Your on your own now and I don't have to watch over you like I use to.

Lane- That's true , but you could have called me.
