Happy summer

chapter 12

     Rory and her mom had to talk about when they were gonna be having the vacation meeting this week  because everybody was wondering what is going on. They need to make sure everything here was taken care of in time before they leave to go on the vacation. Rory and her mom were in the kitchen getting ready to leave and they were also talking at that moment, too.

Rory- When should we have everybody over for a meeting this week?

Lorelai- How bout we have everyone come here after everyone gets off work on Wednesday to have the meeting. I think that would be a good day.

Rory-  I think that would be a good day to have the meeting this week. I will let all my people know and when you see yours you can let them know what is going on. 

Lorelai- That sounds good considering I will see all my people this morning for the daily routine I  have. 

Rory- Ok, I'll get on it asap and let you know what they have got to say once I get a hold of them all. 

Lorelai- Ok

They hurried up and finished getting ready, so they could head right over to the diner before work. 

     When they got into town everyone was doing things. Some of the towns people were decorating the town for the " Start⭐ of the summer festival " they have every year. this event was being held on friday. Rory and Lorelai never miss a thing in town when they have something special going on and this festival was being held all day long. They will have to miss a little bit of it to go to the grandparents for the weekly friday night dinner they have in " Hartford. " Lorelai couldn't make an excuse to get out of this one because of the whole vacation and they will only be missing about 2 1/2 hours only. ( give or take ) When they got to the diner Jess saw Rory and walked🚶 toward her.

Jess- Hey, what is everybody decorating the town for?

Rory- They are all getting ready for the " Start⭐ of the summer festival  " we have every year. We never miss.

Jess-Wow you all think of everything in this town.

Rory- Yeah, we do and we never miss anything here. They know we love the town and it's traditions they have and the ones they add over time as well. No one has ever seen us not at one, so come with me and enjoy this with us. Luke goes to them as well. He has a little attitude , but we make him have fun.

Jess- If it means that much I'll go with you.

Rory- Thank you, Jess.This means a lot to me. 

Jess- Now you gotta go or you'll be late for work. 

Jess handed her the  coffee☕ to go and she left the diner and got right over to the bookstore.

   Lorelai was still at the diner. She was at the counter drinking some coffee☕ while she was talking to Luke for a little bit.

Luke-This town needs to quit celebrating everything. It get's too damn annoying every year to watch them decorate and then have to go to them because you're apart of the town.

Lorelai- That's the fun of it, but now we are together and this should be nice friday.

Luke-I'll try to enjoy it.

Lorelai- Good!!! Now Rory and I are gonna get everyone together on Wednesday after work to have a vacation meeting, so I will pick you up and bring you  to the house🏠.

Luke- That's fine.

Lorelai- Well, got to go to work. See you later.

They kissed and Lorelai got her coffee☕ and went to work for the day.
