Adley.
"Babe, have you seen my eyeliner?" I called out to Ashton, who was trying to find a clean shirt to wear to the party.
"I don't think so, sorry," he said, coming into the bathroom in a form fitting grey shirt and black jeans.
"Maybe Maddie has some," I thought out loud, sending her a quick text before returning to straightening my hair.
"Yeah, probably. You look really, really hot by the way," Ashton smirked, pulling me in for a kiss.
"You look really, really hot yourself, but you're going to mess up my lipstick," I whined.
"You can redo it," he pointed out before smashing his lips against mine.
But, the kiss was cut short by the doorbell ringing.
"I'll get it," he muttered, clearly annoyed that the boys arriving had cut our makeout session short.
I touched up the lipstick that he had, in fact, smeared as the voices of the boys' filled the previously quiet house.
"Adley!" Maddie yelled, tackling me into a hug.
"Hey!" I laughed, sitting up.
She was dressed in a tight black dress, almost identical to mine, with bold makeup sharpening her features.
I hadn't seen Maddie since Ashton asked me to be his girlfriend almost a week ago.
I had, of course, texted her and told her, but that was about it.
"I brought your eyeliner," she exclaimed, pulling it out from her bag.
"I texted you that like two minutes ago, weren't you already on your way?"
"I always have extra eyeliner in my bag," she state matter-of-factly.
"Well at least you're prepared," I offered, laughing as I stood up to fix my eyes.
"Right, but enough about makeup, tell me about Ashton!"
I smiled at the thought of it, the whole concept of him being my boyfriend was still so surreal.
"Okay, so we went to my art studio a couple of days ago because I wanted to do something special for him since he was having such a hard time, you know?"
She nodded, eyes focused on me as she listened intently to what I was saying.
"And after a little while he asked if he could draw me. So he had me pose and all of that typical art stuff. But, when he turned around the painting it was actually the question instead of my face," I finished.
"Oh my God, Adley, that's fucking adorable," she gushed.
"I know, he was so nervous. He told me that he wouldn't be offended if I said no and I literally almost cried," I recalled.
He was blushing the whole time, and he was rushing his words together when he told me that it was okay if I didn't want to be with him.
I had just pulled him into a hug, reassuring him that there was nothing more in the world I would want to be than his girlfriend.
"You guys are so cute together it kills me," Maddie squealed.
"You and Calum are literally adorable. How did you two even get together?" I asked, realizing that even though I basically talked to all of them on the daily, I still didn't know the story of how Maddie and Calum ended up together.
"Uh, it's definitely not a cute story like yours and Ashton's," she warned, looking almost hesitant to tell me.
"It's fine. If you don't want to tell me you don't have to," I assured.
