Superboy X Reader

It was all quiet in the cave.  I have been with the team since the beginning and with my ability to (S/P), how could I not be on the team.  The quietness made me question where everyone was.  After walking around the cave for a little bit, I came to the conclusion that: Robin was with Batman, Aqualad was prepping for the next mission, Wally was flirting with M'Gann, Artemis was out on patrol with Green Arrow and Conner was no where to be found.  I was slightly worried when I couldn't find Conner.  What made it worse was that Wolf was standing right next to me.  Ever since Conner and I started dating, Wolf was never far behind us.  If Conner had left on a patrol, surely he would have taken Wolf and Sphere with him, yet they were both in the cave.  I patted Wolf's head and looked around the cave, searching for anything that might have given me a clue as to where Conner could be.  It wasn't like Conner to leave without telling anyone.

"Come on boy," I told Wolf and we walked out of the cave.  Wolf starts sniffing the ground.  "Can you find him?"  Wolf gives me an of course  look and shoves me to the right.

"Okay okay Wolf!" I said.  "I'm going!"  We walked towards the beach and I saw a figure standing in the shallows, his feet in the wet sand.  A smile grew on my lips and I walked behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist.

"Conner?" I asked quietly.  He doesn't respond so I just bury my head into his strong back.  After what seemed like a lifetime, Conner turned in my arms and put his own arms around me, holding me into his chest.

"Do you ever think about what would have happened if we never met?"  Conner broke the silence.  I looked up at him.

"All the time," I admit.  I move my finger down and trace the red superman symbol on his chest.  "And every scenario comes comes out worse than the last.  Several times I've broken down in tears just thinking about if I had never met you."  Conner studied my face as I spoke.  "Conner you are the best thing that happened to me.  Without you, I would probably be on my way to Belle Reve or worse.  Without you I would still be stalking that rich boy Bruce Wayne attempting to pick his pocket."  I bit my bottom lip.  "You saved me Conner."  Conner grinned and rested his forehead against mine.

"(Y/N)," Conner spoke so quietly I almost didn't hear him.  "When I think back to when I first joined the team, I don't have any good memories that don't involve you.  In a way, I think that you saved me too.  I could have turned into a stupid angry jerk," I laughed softly and Conner kissed my forehead.  "But you were there to guide me.  Every time we were together, my stomach did flips and I couldn't help but smile.  I was confused at these feeling but in turn, I learned that they were telling me something.  They were telling me that I love you.  It took me a while to build up the courage to tell you that I loved you, but eventually I did.  I love you (Y/N)."  I smiled and pecked his lips.

"I love you too Conner," I whispered to him.  Conner touched his lips to mine again and I ran my fingers through his short black hair.  His hands traveled to my waist and he pulled me closer.

"You are the most important thing in my life," Conner spoke against my lips.  "You saved me from certain doom."  I laughed and pressed my lips to his again.

"We saved each other."
