Helloooo!!! I hope that everyone is doing well!!  Here is a story I thought of while watching my all time favorite movie.  I know it line for line and I hope that you guys like it too.  If you know the movie from the quote I put in, leave a comment and the first 3 comments that get it right will win a special prize!!

Sleep wasn't something that came easily to me.  I had to fight for it constantly.  Especially now when I knew I wasn't doing the right thing.  So I tossed and turned and eventually...I just decided to get up.  I didn't feel the need to tell Joker I was leaving, so I threw on my jester costume, one that Harley made for me so that we could have "shopping sprees" together.  Yes.  I was a villain.  I don't remember my real parents and I feel like Harley and Joker are lying to me when they say that my parents abandoned me.  But here I am.  This is the only place that would accept me for...me.  I put my cap on, the kind with the propeller on the top, my hair in low pigtails, and I jumped out the window.

I knew Gotham would be guarded by the bat and his kiddies, Metropolis would be watched by the rest of the Justice League.  So I headed to Happy Harbor.  Maybe I could get an early birthday present for Harley.  The only sound heard in the night, was that of my motorcycle.  The roads were dark, so I blended in like every other citizen around.

The jewelry store only had a small security system, which I bypassed with a quick tap of my fingers.  The lasers disappeared and I unlocked the door, slipping inside.  There were jewels everywhere.  Precious diamonds, rubies and emeralds.  But my keen eye found the purple gem I was looking for.  Tanzanite.  The beautiful stones had their own case and I was determined to get it all for Harley, and for myself I admit.  I knew breaking the case would be noisy and the lock was probably being monitored by the security system...I forgot to bypass that part.  So I needed to cut the glass.  It was quiet and I could easily slip my hand in and out, full of those gorgeous pieces of jewelry.  The only problem is that it takes a lot of time.  I pulled out the laser cutter I brought with me and began cutting the glass case.

A shrill alarm broke me out of my concentration.  I looked around and saw that it wasn't the building I was in, but an apartment complex across the street had black smoke billowing from several broken windows.  I heard people screaming on the inside and I knew I had to do something.  Sure I was a villain, but I wasn't gonna just let people die.  I quickly put the rest of the jewels in my backpack before sprinting out the door and over to the building.  Tightening the straps of my pack as I ran, I sprang into the nearest window that didn't have flames bursting out.  I was an acrobat.  Harley trained me.  I swung my leg around and kicked the door down.  Flames rushed towards my body and I quickly ducked, avoiding the fury.  Smoke entered my lungs and I coughed before pulling my scarf up and around my mouth and nose.

A baby was crying.  I ran down the hall, kicking open doors and checking every room of the floor I was on.  I didn't have any super powers but I wanted to make sure everyone was out of the building.  I found the baby.  She wasn't alone.  Her parents were in the corner, lying face down.  I knew instantly that they were dead.  People just didn't leave their baby alone like this.  Trudging through the messy apartment, I reached the baby's crib.  When she saw me, her tears stopped momentarily, but resumed when another explosion rocked the building.

"Okay little one," I shushed her.  "I'm going to get you out of here."  I picked her up, covering her face with her blanket to keep the smoke out.  Running out of the room, I realized that I couldn't save everyone, but I could save this little baby in my arms.  I ran out, bursting out through the window and landing gracefully on my feet.  Once we were in clean air, I removed the blanket and  the baby stopped crying.  Then there were two figures beside me.

"v/n?" I heard Robin ask.  I turned, the baby in my arms, and handed the small child to him.

"There are still more people in there," I insisted, coughing between words.  I started to run back in, but Superboy grabbed my arm.  He gently pulled me back towards him.

"Why would you want to save those people?" he was genuinely curious.  I have always had a crush on Superboy.  His amazing hair and his kind eyes.

"I may be a villain," I stated, "But I don't like watching innocent people die in a fire I didn't cause."  And with that, I left.

I couldn't get Superboy out of my head.  He was a hero and I was a villain.  It would never work out between us.  But I couldn't help but think about all his good looks.  I was currently sitting in my bedroom back in the Joker's warehouse, scrolling through a social network on my laptop, stolen of course, when I got an incoming call.  The screen on my phone read an unknown number, but in the villain world, every number was an unknown number.

"Hello?" I answered, expecting a maniacal laugh to respond.  Instead, it was a male voice.

"v/n?" Superboy asked.  "Is that you?"

"Yep," I leaned back against my headboard.  "Can I help you with something?"

"We need your help," his voice sounded strained, as if his inner self was telling him not to ask for help from a villain like me.   "Robin is down and we need someone with his hacking skills.  I know for a fact that you have good hacking skills."  I hesitated.  This could be my big break.  But then I remembered that I was a villain.

"Lemme call you back," I whispered and hung up.  "Joker!"

"What?!" he hollered.

"I'm going out!" I jumped when the clown burst into my room.

"If you are going to help those no good kiddies after I disposed of Robin, you better think again!" he yelled.  I folded my arms, scowling at my adoptive father.  "You're a villain.  You'll always be a villain.  You'll never change...and you'll never leave."  And with that he stormed out, slamming the door behind him.  I sighed before reaching for my phone.  Then it hit me.  Joker couldn't control my actions.  I slipped on my costume, secured my precious electronics to my wrists and I swung out my window.

Superboy waved me over when he saw me running towards the group.

"You came!" he smiled.  I grinned back.

"Well I guess that hacking is my specialty and if this is all I do," I reasoned.  "Then I can still remain a villain."  Superboy's smile faded when I said that, but then he nodded.

"Here is where we need you to be," he pointed to a spot on a holographic map.  "You need to deactivate this here..." I started to zone out.  He was such a cute guy.  His voice was smooth and calm and deep and I loved it.  He was everything I ever dreamed of in the looks of a guy and better yet, his personality matched his good looks.  "...got it?"  I stared at him.  I completely missed everything he said.  I looked up and saw the Joker and Harley standing on a nearby rooftpp, watching my every move.

"I..." I stuttered.  "I'm a villain...I shouldn't be here-"  I was cut off by Superboy's lips on mine.  He was kissing me?  Why?

"Everyone deserves a second chance," he explained, but I just kept shaking my head.

"I'm the bad guy," I murmured.  "I don't save the day.  I don't fly off into the sunset...and I don't get the man."  Conner clenched his jaw.  "I'm going home."  And with that I stood up and walked away.  Though, I couldn't help but look back.

Ok guys I thought that this was gonna be really cute but I don't know about it.  Comment, request and please give me advise.

Love, Sammy
