So...some people wanted a part two from the first one.  Here it is.  I hope its okay.

Biggest mistake of my life.  Now there was no way Superboy would ever trust me.  Not like he should have in the first place...but at least he gave me a chance.  When I got home, Harley and Joker gave me the beating of my life.  I was sore in places I never knew I could be sore in.  Then they made me train.  Harder than I've ever been trained before.  It was grueling work.  I determined then and there that I needed to tell someone.  No one from the Light or the Injustice League would help me though.  Then I remembered I had Superboy's number.  He had called me...asking me for my help.  After I had found an icepack in the freezer, I slunk up to my room, holding the cold pack to my now black eye.

"Hello?" Superboy's voice came through the speaker.

"Superboy..." I croaked.  "I'm so sorry."  There wasn't a response for a long time and I was half gonna hang up.

"I gave you a chance..." he whispered.  "And you stabbed me in the back.  What makes you think that I would trust you this time?"  Silent tears slid down my cheeks.

"I knew you would say that..." I muttered.  "But I deserve it.  I am a villain after all.  Why should you trust a scumbag like me?"  And with that I hung up.  I deserved everything he said and more.  But I had to get out of here.  I quickly packed my bags, only the essentials, leaving my villain suit lying on my bed.  Hopefully Harley and Joker will get the message that I'm not coming back.  All I had was what was on my back, but I knew that I would never set foot in the place again if it was the last thing I would do.

Maybe I regret my decision to leave.  My room in the warehouse was warm and dry...the exact opposite of the weather in Gotham right now.  Hopefully the weather in Happy Harbor was better.  A shiver coursed through my body, making my teeth chatter.  The wind was blowing so hard, I thought it would blow me right over.  Taking a deep breath, I kept walking, desperate to continue distancing myself from the Joker and his ways.

Laughter suddenly filled the air and I knew then that I was probably gonna die.  If this wasn't Joker himself, it was most likely his worst goons.  Out of the corner of my eye, I saw them.  Sure enough, it was the goons and they were stalking towards me.  I turned to my left, down a quiet street when I stopped.  There were more goons at the end of the street.  Well now I'm stuck.  I raised my fists, wishing desperately that I had brought some of my guns, but of course, they would be with my suit...back at the warehouse.  The goons closed the distance and soon they were surrounding me.

"Yo' daddy wants you back," one of the bigger ones chortled.  "He's not happy you left and if you come with us now, your punishment might not be as...severe."  I started shaking my head halfway through his sentence.  There was no way I was going back to that warehouse.

"No," I stood my ground, and they attacked.

This was worse than any beating Joker ever inflicted on me.  Instead, it was like 6 Joker's, all hitting me at the same time.  I tried desperately to fight them off, but it was futile.  They simply overpowered my small body.  I felt two hands on my chest and they shoved me into a car on the side of the road, my back hitting the metal hard making me gasp.

"We ain't gonna kill ya..." one joked.  "But it'll be close."  More and more punches landed on my body.  I half hoped that they would kill me, it would save me the agony of moving on after this beating.  Punch to the gut.  Punch to the jaw.  Then, my eyes barely being able to open, it stopped.  My body slouched against the car before my eyes found a man in a black shirt, fighting my demons away.  I could feel my own ragged breaths as they forced themselves out of my lungs, something clearly broken in my chest.  I wanted more than anything to slump onto the ground, but if I did, I probably wouldn't get back up.

All the goons were gone and my savior turned to look at me.  My eyes met his own bright blue ones and I forced a smile onto my face.  His however, was not smiling and happy

"Why so serious?" I laughed.  Superboy sighed and strode over to me, so close that we were almost touching.

"Do you have a death wish?" he asked and I giggled.

"No," I protested.  "I just want to be a good girl and get the guy and ride off into the sunset." Conner suddenly just stared at me.  "What?"  He said nothing, but closed the distance between us and gently pushed his lips onto mine.  I immediately kissed him back, him pushing me against the cold metal of the car, rain pouring down around us.  My hands wound themselves into his hair, making him groan and squeeze my bottom.  I squeaked and he moved his tongue into my mouth at the opportunity.  It was almost like we were meant for each other, our mouths fitting perfectly together.

"Superboy?" I heard a small voice.  "Come in."  Conner growled and we broke apart.

"What Aqualad?" he barked.

"Did you find what you were looking for?"

"Yes," he met my eyes.  "Yes I did."
