“Aha, um, sorry about getting all emotional yesterday...” Frost walked into Aurora and Noel's room the next morning. “It's just, at my house my brothers-”
“I know, and I understand. There's no need to apologize.” Aurora said sweetly. In the neighboring room, Noel was listening in on their conversation. What does this girl have? Multiple personality disorder?
“I HEARD THAT!” Aurora shouted from her side of the room. Ugh, it really sucks having a roommate who can read minds. Noel thought, sighing and resting her head back onto her pillow.
“Do you think I really want to hear what goes on in your head?” she retorted. Frost looked back and forth between the two girls. What had just happened here? He smiled awkwardly and began to saunter backwards.
“Aha, I think I'm going to go talk to Cynder.... Um, bye.” and he darted out of the room as fast as he could. Noel sighed. Now look what you did. He probably thinks you're a freak! Oh wait... Maybe that's a good thing! Awesome!
Aurora glared at her. “Shut up.”
I think I'm just going to keep thinking. Rather peaceful, eh? Noel sighed and curled up on her bed, daydreaming. This is so peaceful... La, la, la... She closed her eyes and imagined Aurora beside her, holding a nail filer and polish. In her little dream, she made Aurora file her nails and paint them a fiery red. Outside Noel's daydream, the real Aurora rolled her eyes, being forced to watch the whole thing. Hm... I think she needs a maids outfit... At that, Aurora tapped into her psychic powers and began elevating Noel off of her bed. Noel's eyes opened, watching herself rise. Her eyes grew wider and wider as she was raised higher and higher off of her bed.
“W-wahh!!” she squealed on the way up. Her head now lightly bumped the ceiling. She placed her hand on the ceiling and a spider that was nearby began slowly crawling towards her. EEP. WHAT THE HECK....
“Put me down! Down I say! Down!” Aurora stared at her blankly as if she didn't understand what Noel was saying. The spider grew closer. “HURRY!” Noel cried, frantically waving her arms about.
“What's the magic phrase...” Aurora inquired melodically. Noel furrowed her eyebrows, pondering what it could be.
“Please?” she attempted, hoping that's what it would be. Aurora shook her head and began snickering, placing her hand over her mouth. What else could it be? Noel thought, trying to think of one hurriedly.
“Umm... I'm an eager Bieber?” she tried, smiling sheepishly. Aurora gazed at her with confusion, a crease appeared between her eyebrows.
“AHEM, no... Where'd you get that?” she asked, looking at Noel as if she were some sort of freak. Noel scowled at her, but it quickly turned to panic as the spider lethargically made its way towards her.
“Umm, Bieber one, Bieber all, let's all do the Bieber call?” she began making beaver noises which quickly died off when she received an awkward stare from Aurora.
“Y'know, I'm not even going to ask about that one. I'll just let you down, I think you've been inhaling the paint fumes from us newly painting the ceiling and walls last week... You weren't even up there that long...” and with that, she dropped her down onto her bed. The mattress squelched as she bounced on the bed a few times before becoming still.
“I actually expected more of something along the lines of, 'Aurora is the best!' 'Aurora is amazing!' 'I'd give anything to be just like Aurora!'” she sighed, twirling her finger in her hair. Noel wriggled about on her bed.
