“No! No, please no!” Danielle screamed as both Noel and Frost were trying to push her through the security scanner after they had checked their bags. It had taken them around twenty to thirty minutes to get through the security line, and none of the other people in line seemed to thrilled about the holdup Danielle was creating.

“I don't want to go through the retarded scanner...ok?!” she howled at them. Eventually Aurora had to come over and envelope her in her power, trying to make it look as natural as possible as she 'pushed' Danielle through the scanner. The security guard sighed as she finally went through, waving her on to gather her stuff from the conveyor belt. Danielle's lit up when she was allowed to leave, and no one was pushing her any longer.

“What was her problem?”

“Why did she have such a hard time going through the scanner?”

“Teenagers these days...” Were some of the many remarks made by the onlooking people both during and after Danielle's tantrum.

After Aurora went through the scanner, she stood by Danielle as she lifted her shoes and cell phone from the bin that had passed through the x-ray scanner. She began tugging her shoes on as she began questioning Danielle about her frenzy.

“What was that all about back there?” She growled to her softly as Danielle began pulling her shoes on as well.

“Well, um, as I said yesterday... I've sorta been living in the forest for a while, with no civilization except for Kiku. I've never exactly been to an airport...” She said, a sheepish grin appearing across her face. Aurora nodded slightly.

“Well, next time, could you let us know before you begin screaming?” she mumbled, still upset about how the whole situation had gone. Danielle sighed, but dipped her head slightly, agreeing to alert her.

Frost, Noel, and Cynder soon appeared behind the two, all of them only having to retrieve their shoes except for Cynder, who also had to get her purse.

She smiled at them. “Ready to move on?” she said cheerfully. The foursome nodded and they began walking down the large hall and passed many different food places and an airport gift shop. They reached their gate fairly quickly and sat down behind a couple of gate booths, waiting for their flight which would board around 10:30. Aurora looked down at her cell phone; it was about 9:35. She groaned.

“Great. Now what are we supposed to do for the next hour?” She grumbled, leaning her back against the chair. The airport was buzzing around her and it felt as if the whole of Geyser was running somewhere in the airport. She turned her head when Noel tapped her on the shoulder.

“Danielle and I are going to the gift shop. Do you want to come?” she asked sweetly, her eyes glistening happily. Aurora sighed and agreed, leaving Cynder and Frost behind.

“Get me a Twix bar!” Frost called after them, leaning back in his chair.

“Not unless you come with!” Aurora called back, hurrying after the other two. Frost shook his head and got up. He began racing after them, weaving through the countless people who seemed to pay no attention to him. The crowd bustled around him, leaving as quickly as they had come and settling in the waiting area at their gates. He reached the gift shop quickly and padded after the three girls as they headed towards the snacks and magazines.

Noel squealed as she assessed the numerous stuffed animals and such. “They're so cute and fluffy!” she exclaimed, picking up a small dog and squeezing it in her death grip. Thank God Kiku is so much larger than her. Frost thought, Or else she might do the same thing to her! Aurora nodded absentmindedly, not quite aware of the fact that she was agreeing with Frost. As he began walking towards where Danielle was looking for a book, he swore he saw a flash of green fly by him, like a small flying blur. He blinked with wide eyes, noticing that Danielle seemed as if she had seen it also.
