The foursome laughed joyfully and continued to chat about it until they reached the house again.
“We're here already?” Danielle asked, clearly surprised by how quickly the time had passed.
“I guess time flies when you're having fun!” Cynder chuckled, locking the car as they began to pad down the sidewalk and up to the house. Frost cupped a hand around his mouth and beckoned Danielle closer to him.
“That, and Cynder just happens to be a lead-foot!” They laughed and Cynder turned to them, a scornful, yet playful look on her face.
“I'm not that old you know!” She said, “I can still hear!” The three of them laughed and walked into the house. Cynder pointed towards their rooms. “Time to pack. Aurora, show them where we keep the extra suitcases.” Aurora nodded and beckoned Frost and Noel to follow her. Danielle looked at Cynder.
“Ah yes, I forgot. We haven't arranged where your room will be...” She pondered. “Arthur and I share a room in the basement... We could clean out the storage room and you could stay there.” She decided, waving her after Aurora. “Ask Aurora to get you a suitcase and then help you clean the storage room out.”
“But what about a bed?” Danielle asked. Cynder shook her head.
“We'll figure that out later. Now hurry along!” she said, shooing Danielle down the hallway. Danielle sighed, walking into Aurora and Noel's room where the two were bickering about who got which suitcase. Four suitcases were lying on Aurora's bed. One was blue, one was red, one was orange, and the last was purple, all of which had four wheels instead of two.
“I want the purple one!” Noel shouted, grabbing the handle. Aurora shook her head and both pulled on the suitcase with her psychic powers and her mortal strength.
“The purple one is mine! It always has been! Why don't you take the red one?” Aurora inquired fiercely, pulling the suitcase away from Noel. The little girl screamed and tackled Aurora while Frost grabbed the red one and backed away. Danielle, unsure of what to do, dashed over quickly and grabbed the blue one before backing away from the girls again. They were now on the floor, pulling each other's hair and arguing over the suitcase. Aurora finally just levitated Noel off the ground, taking the suitcase in her possession and setting Noel down by the orange one.
“There, you now are forced to take the orange one.” She scoffed, floating the purple suitcase to the ceiling and leaving it there. “You could have had the choice between the blue, red or orange, but you ruined it for yourself!” Noel glared at Aurora in defeat and grabbed the suitcase ungratefully.
“Fine, I'll take the stupid orange suitcase!” she acquiesced, mumbling, “Retard...” under her breath as she walked to her side of the room. Aurora didn't look insulted, and said nothing, looking at Danielle and Frost.
“Well, go on! Go pack!” she stated, waving them away. “Go! Out of my room!” she declared closing the door behind them.
“It's our room!” the muffled voice of Noel cried, and the sound of someone being slapped entered the ears of Frost and Danielle.
“What was that for?”
“Being a retard!”
“You're the retard, remember?” their squabbles began again and Frost and Danielle laughed.
“Guess we should go pack.” Frost said, waving her down the hallway into his room. “We might as well pack together to make it a little more fun.” Danielle nodded, dashing back into the kitchen to retrieve her bags of clothes before returning back to Frost's room. He smiled when she entered the room, opening up his suitcase and collecting his bags from the ground, dumping its contents on his red bed sheet.
