*third person point of view*

Pete Wentz looked at himself in the mirror. He barely got any sleep the last night and was a nervous wreck. He nervously tied the tie around his neck, messing up, thankful when his best friend Patrick came and helped him.

"You need to stop stressing, you're gonna lose all your hair before you even get to the church," Patrick muttered as he tied Petes tie. Pete just snapped his head up, looking around confused.

"Could that actually happen? Is there a way to prevent it? Oh my God they're gonna kill me if I show up with no hair-" Pete started rambling but was cut off when Patrick started shaking his shoulders.

"Calm the hell down, you're gonna be fine," Patrick reassured him, standing up from the bed. He put his arm out for Pete to take a hold of. "We better leave now before we're late,"

They made their way to a small church, just outside of the city they lived in. Pete walked behind the doors, waiting for a signal.

"It's time," he heard someone from inside the church say. That's all Pete needed to hear before he pushed in the doors and made his way down the aisle. Pete smiled at how they decided who would walk down the aisle.

-

"I don't want to do it!" Pete said glaring at the boy across from him.

"Well I don't want to do it either!" The other man said. They stared at each other, not wanting to give in.

"How bout we Rock Paper Scissors to see who does it?" Pete offered with a smile.

"Rock. paper, scissors, I WIN," pete said jumping up and down. That's probably the only game he's ever won.

"Well the winner walks down the aisle," Pete just pouted and stuck his younger out at his husband-to-be.

-

He finally reached the end of the aisle and met hands with his fiancé. He looked at his face and couldn't help but smile.

"I love you," he saw Mikey whispered across to Pete.

"I love you more," Pete whispered back with a smile on his face. Mikey rolled his eyes and turned his focus back to the preacher.

Pete couldn't do that though, he was too busy running his vows over and over in his head. He was worried that something would go wrong with them. What if they were awful? What is he messed up? Wha-

"Peter?" The preacher whispered as Mikey nudged Pete.

"Huh?" Pete asked dazed. He could feel his cheeks burning up.

"Your vows?"

"Oh yeah!" Pete said with an awkward laugh, mentally cursing himself. "Michael James Way, where do I begin? From the moment I laid eyes on you, I've been in love. The whole cancer thing- most people would've quit, but we grew stronger. Every moment that I'm without you, feels like someone stabbed me in the heart. We are no longer 'Mikey and Pete'  but now an us. They say I met you I knew I had something special and couldn't risk messing it up. For the last eight years we've been through everything together and I want it to be like that for the rest of my life. You have turned my life around for better or for worse and I don't know what I would do without you. So dammit I love you so much Mikey Way," Pete finished confidently. Mikey smiled at him before he was told to say his.

"Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III, no matter how much of a mouth full your name is, I love every bit of it. When I was younger, I used to think that being in love meant going on dates, holding hands, kissing . But as I grew older, I realized how wrong I was. Being in love is being there for that person when they are down. Being in love is those meaningless fights you have, until you both realize you're both at fault. Being in love is what I am with you, Pete. Before I met you, I was alone. You showed me out of that and I owe you everything for that. I want to be there through the good, but also the bad. I want to be there to see you happy, but also want to be the one to wipe your tears away. I want to be there always,"

The rest of the ceremony went by, but all Pete could do was stare at Mikey. They were all the other needed, two halves of a whole.

"I know pronounce you husbands," the preacher finished. Mikey pulled Pete into the most love filled kiss he could. Everybody on the crowd cheered, but Pete and Mikey were too busy staring at each other.

As the newly wedded couple made their way to the ceremony, they were stopped by someone they didn't expect to see.

"Doctor Sharpe?" Mikey asked a bit dazed. Why would his doctor want to visit him at his wedding?

"I came over here to say congratulations on the wedding. You two are the most adorable couple I've ever seen and deserve this," she said with a smile. "And please, call me Kess," she said with a smile.

"Well thank you, are we going to see you at the reception?" Mikey asked, a bit shocked that she showed up.

"I'm sorry I can't make it, but I do have a gift," she said handing them a white envelope. Pete thanked her and they made their way to the hall.

"What is it?" Pete asked curious as Mikey was opening it. He stopped fearing the envelope and gave his husband a disapproving look. "Sorry,"

"Oh my god," Mikey gasped as he covered his mouth. Pete looked over to see what made Mikey so shocked and did the same thing.

Inside the envelope was a receipt. A receipt showing all of Mikey's medical bills; payed off. Before this, the were struggling to find a way to pay them all off, but it seems that they don't have to worry anymore.

"That's incredible Mikey!" Pete exclaimed as he pulled his husband into a loving hug. Mikey nodded, grabbing Petes face and giving him a kiss. It seems happy endings do exist.
