It's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.

Blake sat across from me, his hair flying with the wind that blew through the car. His hand hung out of the window as if he was trying to grasp the wind while the other hand rested on the wheel.

I couldn't help but stare at the little freckles that dotted his nose, which complimented his big crystal blue eyes that were shaded by his long eyelashes
Getting lost in my thoughts I didn't realize that Blake had noticed me staring at him.

"Are you okay?" He chuckled
I stared in shock and tried to come up with an excuse
" Yeah I was just thinking about.. stuff." I hesitated

' Really?' The voice in my head scolded me.

"Stuff, huh?" Blake started. I slowly nodded my head. "You know what I think?" Blake smiled at me deviously.

"What?" I smiled back.

"I think that you were looking at me." He pointed accusingly.

I kept quiet. I mean seriously what was I supposed to say, 'oh I'm just taking in your facial features. Making sure you look kind.' of course not! And most importantly I've only known him for a day.

"Well are you gonna answer me?" Blake asked breaking the silence.

"Yes I was looking at you. But, I was looking at how much you look like my cousin. BUT" I quickly stated pointing my finger up to the sky, "I was also thinking about stuff" I made another excuse.

Blake only shot me a dissatisfied look. I couldn't help but smile at how his eyebrows furrowed and his bottom lip stuck out. Knowing he wasn't going to get an answer out of me Blake turned to the road and flipped on the radio. The first song that came on was Pompeii by Bastille. Blake immediately started screeching the lyrics. I just stared at him,
"Seriously?" Blake looked at me expectantly, "If you think I'm gonna sing, then you are quite mistaken." I finished and turned away from him.

Blake laughed, "I thought we could have that cliché moment where we both scream the lyrics."

I shook my head, "You're crazy." Blake turned to me with a grin still stuck to his face.

A comfortable silence had settled. But I soon got antsy and couldn't stay in my seat much longer.

"So you gonna tell me where we are going?" I questioned, throwing my head back in agony.

"Its a surprise!" He said once again giving a smile in return.

I shot Blake a look of frustration.
"Fine."

The air was still warm as it blew throughout the car. I could feel my hair flying in every direction. I looked out my window, all that you could see was open fields dotted with trees fly by.

"Okay to pass time lets get to know each other." Blake suggested.

When I turned to Blake I saw his eyes venturing my face, taking in every detail and flaw that I possessed.

"Okay."

"So, if you really knew me" blake started "You would know that I sleep with my socks on, my favorite color is blue, and I prefer to be around kids." He continued trying not to get to deep.
Blake waited for my response.

"You don't seem like the type of person to sleep with your socks on." I stated bringing my legs to my chest making my dress slightly ride up. I looked at his face and our eyes met, he looked so innocent and sweet, I broke our gaze quickly.

"Well, I sleep with my socks on sweat heart." He returned his eyes to the road and started to smile, " but I didn't say I sleep with a shirt on."

Immediately my face grew bright red. He did that on purpose! That dummy is trying to put images in my head. Blake couldn't help but let out a chuckle.

"Your turn."

"Um uh ok." She stuttered.
Blake again started to laugh.

"Stop laughing and let me think!" I scolded. "Okay I'm ready. If you really knew me you would know that I have never been to a school dance, my favorite color is blue, and I hate driving and would prefer to ride my bike or walk."

"You've never been to a high school dance?" Blake asked giving me a puzzles look.

"Nope!"

"And why?"

"Well no one ever asked me, and I only have one other friend plus she never wanted to go, and who wants to show up and be alone? Not me!" I gestured to myself.

"I cant believe no one has asked you!"

"Well its true, it would have been nice in the past but since we are done with school I really don't care."

We continued to ask each other questions.

I learned that Blake's favorite food is shrimp, his favorite drink is coke, he also loves to read, his favorite animal is a platypus, and so forth and so on.
We continued this for 10 more minutes till we came to our destination.

"What is this place?" I asked getting out of the car and flattening out my dress.

"Well, I was driving around yesterday and I found this place, decided that this would be nice to have a picnic!" He explained as he got the blanket and picnic basket out of the back of the car.

"Oh" I awed as I leaned my body on the side of the car.

Blake closed the trunk and walked to where I was. Once I heard him I turned my head keeping my body firmly placed on the car.

"You ready?" He asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be!" I sighed finishing with a slight giggle.

Blake grabbed my hand and pulled me along with him. He had brought us to a park tat was almost in the middle of nowhere. It was nice though, quiet and private. A few couples and kids were around playing at the playground or walking the trails. I figured we'd sit at a picnic table or something but as we continued to walk, and once we had passed all the tables I started to get confused.

"So, you taking me away fro everyone so you can kill me or something?" I joked as we made our way through a group of trees.

"Ha-Ha very funny. And no I'm not." Blake laughed humorlessly, he got really quiet before asking, "You don't really think that I would kill you or anything right?"

I was shocked that he thought I was serious, "No of course I don't think you would do that. I'm just joking around." I reassured him quickly. Blake nodded his head and gave me a small smile.

"Okay, good. I don't want you to think I'm some creeper dude."

"Hey no your fine."

Blake smiled once more before we stopped.

"Here we are!" Blake exclaimed extending his arms out to the side. I gasped at the sight, it was so beautiful.
