Your beliefs become your thoughts , your thoughts become your words, your words become you actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your values, your values become your destiny.

"Haha stop it! No!" I screamed as Blake continued to tell his story.

It was like the story he told in the car only this story consisted of a mall an escalator, and a piping cup of hot chocolate.

Blake laughed along with me making the corner of his eyes wrinkle. I couldn't help but study his features once again. His eyes were a crystal blue and the way his muscles pulled his cheeks back to form a perfect smile, it could make anybody smile. And don't forget that he had dimples in his cheeks every time he smiled.

The silent wind blew through the trees bringing the smell of summer with it. I inhaled the air as I continued to smile. Letting out a sigh as I stayed put on my back letting the fabric of the blanket form to my body.

Blake had brought us to a small clearing in the park, little yellow and purple flowers dotted the ground with clover mixed in. Blake laid on his stomach picking at the grass and twisting the clovers in between his pointer finger and his thumb.

I stared at the sky and watched the birds fly by. I closed my eyes mumbled a poem Logan used to site to me,
"I am a bird flying free with my thoughts,
From my nesting tree I gallantly fought,
Every sinister wing and feather flown,
That tried to endanger my happy home.
Imagination is my sky, countless as stars,
Smoothly I fly pass the Moon, Sun& Mars,
Landing on Jupiter gently wetting my beak,
Lest on the return trip I get too tired or weak.
I chirp for my freedom with a heavenly song,
This way the journey will not seem as long,
My wings are better known as love and peace,
Embracing wisdom, reason never fails to cease"

Once I finished silence washed over and surrounded the wind and trees.

"That was beautiful." Blake spoke in a whisper. His sudden comment startled me, I sat up quickly and snapped my head to face him.

Blake still laid on his stomach, his fingers laced together with a little clover stuck between his hands his head gently rested on top. He gave a slight smile, "Where did you come up with that?"

"Thanks." I quietly stated turning my head back to face the sky. "And I didnt make it up. Some one used to say it to me."

I could still feel Blake's gaze still on me. But I didnt really care. I just kept thinking about the poem, and how much it reminded me of Logan.
I need time to think. By myself.

"Are you ready?" I questioned Blake as I positioned myself to get up.

Blake sighed and reluctantly agreed. I couldn't help but laugh at his unwillingness to leave.

"I got the blanket if you get the basket." He he motioned to the basket as he continued picking up the blanket and crumpling it up into a ball. "Ok now let's go."

"Thanks again." I said very calmly as I piled out of the car.

"No problem! We will have to do that again!" Blake exclaimed.

I started towards my front door when I heard my name called. I turned towards the caller.

"Wait!" Blake shouted. I walked back towards his side of the car.

"Yeah?" I questioned as I rested my arms on the door.

"Here ya go, you know for good luck." Blake winked at me as he held out a four leafed clover. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I tried to hold back a smile. I grabbed the leaf and backed away from the car and watched Blake's car pull out of the drive. I waved goodbye and finished the walk to my house.

When I walked through the door I was greeted by koda.

"Hey buddy!" I cooed as my dog barked with happiness. Clayton walked out of the kitchen, a vanilla soda in hand and his "muscular" chest was bare.

"You know" I started "the ladies would faint if they saw you right now" my tone seeped with sarcasm, I couldn't help but smile a little as Clayton glared at me.

I waited for the retort that would come from his mouth. But I was surprised when Clayton only stared and then continued to walk to the living room. Shaking my head with a small smile plastered on my face, I kicked off my shoes and headed for the living room as well.

Clayton sat in the recliner that was in the corner of the room. I couldn't help but laugh at the sight of him, with his legs sprawled out and his arms hanging over the arms of the chair, I burst out laughing "you look ridiculous!"

"No one asked you how I looked." Was the simple response I got from my little brother. I felt like I was in a picking mood sooo I simply decided to make my way over to where he was seated. While he was watching the television I would take a couple steps, then when he would look at me and I would stop and act like I was also watching t.v.. I continued this until I was only inches from his chair. "I see you." Clayton mumble still keeping his eyes glued to the television.

"Well good!" I chirped as I launched myself into the recliner.

"No! Get your fatness away from me! " Clayton screamed as he flailed his body and squirmed to get out of my grasp, I had now wrapped my arms around him and was cuddling with him, holding onto his body as tight as I could.

"Never, I love you too much Clay! Don't push me out!" I cooed into his ear. This lasted for 10 minutes until he finally gave in and stopped fighting. "You are so annoying."

"You might think that but I know deep, deep, deeeeep down you love me!" I whispered poking his chest. When I looked up at claytons face I saw a smirk followed by an eye roll. "Ha you didn't deny it!"

"Whatever." was the only response I got.

I told him to scoot over and make room for me. I squirmed my way into the tiny space that was left in the chair. Clayton kept his eyes glued to the T.V.
'I cant just sit here and keep my hands to myself.' I thought. I looked at Clayton and flicked his nose.

"Ouch! What was that for!?" He shot me a dirty look. I gave a skittish smile before he continued, "If you want to sit here then don't mess with my face, or any other part of me, got it?"

I nodded my head trying to hold back a smile.

Oh old habits never die.
