"Who is it and state your purpose," You said, flipping through the pages of paper.

"It's Erwin. I have some news."

"Is it more paperwork because I'm dying to do more," You replied sarcastically but gave a chuckle once he came through the door.

Erwin stood still in the middle of the office, his hands folded behind his back. "Have you read the file?"

"Yes," you said, setting down the papers and slumped back in your chair. "It's unusual for you to come to my office. Why did you suddenly want me to read about a thug?"

"He's joining your squad."

You almost spat out, laughing thinking it was an joke but the expression upon Erwin's face showed no trace of humor.

"With all due respect, a pick-pocketing thief has no place at the Survey corps."

*Next day*

"Welcome to squad L/n," You shift a small forced-smile but instead the black-haired thug just clicked his tongue in response.

'So much for first impression." You thought, the edge of your smile twitching.

"Come with me, let's introduce you to the rest of the family." You said, walking ahead with him behind you. The both of you walked together to the mess hall, where the rest of your team was eating.

"First, that's Twitch, she's Berry, over there is Squishy and that's Diana. Everyone this is Levi, meet our new recruit."

The black-haired man stared at you, then looking back at your squad.

"Weird names," he mutter.

"Well Twitch.. It's pretty obvious because he twitches a lot. Berry lovees berries, squishy has squishy cheeks. And Diana is... Diana." You explained.

"Y-you'll get u-use to u-us!" Twitch says, trying to go in for a handshake but Levi just waves him off.

"You want some berries?" Berry asks, raising up a bowl of blueberries but he rejected that too.

Squishy was a bit larger than the rest, when he walked his cheeks would jiggle.

"Look at his cheeks!!" You said, clamping your fingers on his jittery cheek and pulling it.

"Captain!" Squishy cried out, then pulling his face away and rubbing his cheek.

"I'm L/n F/n, and I'll be your captain. Hope to work well with you," you said enthusiastically with your hand out to shake his.

"Tch," Levi clicks his tongue, turning his head away from you.

Your eyebrow started to twitch angrily, pulling your hand away. You cleared your throat, holding a evil smirk.

"Let's start training."

You sat on the green grass, holding a glum-disappointed face. You were hoping that training would be intensely hard to the newbie but sadly, he excels everything.
