CHAPTER 5: Getting to know each other
(Henry’s POV)
“Cold princess?” yan ang sinabi ko. Napalingon sya saakin at tumaas ang kilay. Hahaha ang cute nya talaga. Kamukha nya yung childhood friend ko noon.
“Who are you?” yan ang sabi nya saakin habang nakataas padin ang kilay nya
“Hmm. I’m a friend of Stanley. Yung inaway mo last time sa room. Remember?” sabi ko.
“Ah. Okay.” Sabi nya tapos inom ulit ng iniinom nya. Nako, ang hirap naman makausap sya. Tae, ngayon lang ako nahirapan kausapin ang isang tao, and worst BABAE pa.
“Uhm, if it’s ok, can I ask your name?” I’m hoping na sasabihin nya.
“And why would I say it?” she said with her monotone voice. Jusko, ganito ba talaga sya magsalita?
“Wala naman. Just to know you?” sabi ko as I shrugged.
“What’s your name first?” honestly I was surprised that she would ask my name. I think this is it. To get to know her more.
“John Henry Ford. My friends used to call me Henry.” Sabi ko. Napansin kong napalingon sya saakin bigla. Ano kaya meron?
“Ah. I’m Alexandria Xyrene Zamora.” She said with a brief smile. HELL! Did she just smiled? It was just brief but it showed how her smile is so much beautiful.
I offered my hands to have a handshake. “Friends?” I said with a smile.
“Do they really like handshakes?” sabi nya pero rinig ko. “Uhh yeah. Friends?” sabay abot din nya ng kamay at nakipaghandshake. Pagkatapos noon di na sya ulit nagsalita. Aishh, ang hirap naman magisip ng topic. Hindi kasi ako tulad nila Drake na madaming sasabihin.
“Uhm. Are you a transferee?” jusko Henry ano ba namang tanong yan.
“Yes, I came from England with my bestfriend and sister.” Sagot nya. WOW! Just wow. Nagsalita sya at hindi ang boses nya na cold.
“Oh. Sorry to say this but do you happen to be related with the Zamoras of Zamora companies?” sabi ko.
She chuckled, GOD! She chuckled. I smiled when she did it. “Yeah. I’m the daughter of Martin Zamora and Lilianne Zamora.” OH!? Isa sila sa mga shareholders namin. Sila ang nagttransport ng mga automotive parts ng company namin.
“WOW!” yan lang ang nasabi ko. “So you’re the one who’s going to take over them” as I chuckled. “Your family is one of the biggest investors in our company” sabi ko.
“Ah yes. The Ford automotive parts eh?” sabi nya.
“Yup, uhm pwede magtanong?” She just nodded as response. “Buti naiintindihan mo ako. Panay kasi English mo eh. Hahahahaha” sabi ko with a smile.
