"Love never dies, love will continue...." Gustave sings only to stop when he hears the phone ring.
"Hello. Destler residence." Gustave says into the phone
"Is Mr. Y there?" Madam Giry asks
"One moment." Gustave replies
He runs to the music room and tells Erik Madam Giry is on the phone. Erik picks the phone up and says
"What do you want Giry? It's my day off."
"Well I thought you would like to know an old friend is here and wants to see you." She says and then hangs up.
"GUSTAVE!!!" Erik yells getting his sons attention from his room
"Yes, father?" He replies when he gets down to the music room.
"Come, we are going to Coney Island." Erik says
Gustave has a confused look on his face but doesn't say anything. He gets ready and they get into the carriage.
"Father, I thought it was your day off?" Gustave asks after awhile
"It is, but Giry said there was an old friend there wanting to see me." He replies
Gustave nods and doesn't question anymore.
After 30 minutes of riding they get there. Erik had no idea who it was or why they would come. He was sure to find out though.
