"I like the name Aiden for a boy!" Christine exclaims. I shake my head agreeing.
"Since I chose a boy, why don't you choose for a girl." Christine tells me. I must look shocked because Christine starts laughing. Soon I start laughing along with her. When we finally stop I say.
"Everleigh."
Christine looks happy that I chose an unusual name. She looks very content but then her face suddenly gets a sick look as she jumps up and runs to the bathroom. I'm close behind her. I hate seeing my angel like this!
"Are you ok dear?" I ask her after I get her back to bed.
"I'll be fine, this happened when I was pregnant with Gustave." She replies. I must have looked as sad as I felt because I wasn't there for Gustave. She looks at me and says.
"It's not your fault. You had too."
I nod and say
"It won't happen again Christine I'm never ever going to leave again. Now how about middle names."
"Aiden Lee Destler and Everleigh Anne Destler." Gustave says from the corner. We both jump because we didn't know he was there.
"I like that darling!! You chose well!!" Christine tells him. I open my arms for him and he hurries to get in my arms. I could tell he was almost crying.
"Don't worry Gustave I'll never leave you again!" I tell him. He instantly calms down and falls asleep in my lap.
