Ends....or Not

Christine's POV

Erik has been more watchful these past months. I keep asking if he can finally let them go. It's been 7 months Meg has blown up, Raoul had sobered up and had started working for Erik trying to make a living for Meg and their child.

"Erik, darling." I say

"Yes mon ange."

"We need to let them go!" I practically scream at him.

"PAS NOUS NE!!!!" (No we don't) He screams right back in french.

I jump back, I was terrified I had never seen him so mad at me before.

"Oh no, mon ange, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scream." He whispers softly in my ear. I hear one of the twins crawl into the room. Only reason I know is because I hear Gustave calling after Everleigh.

"Ever!! Why do you always have to crawl off!" Gustave says picking her up.

"Go back to the other room Gustave. Me and your mother have to talk. Shut the door behind you." Erik tells Gustave. He nods and heads out the door.

"Why do you want to let them go?" He asks me. I gulp visibly and say

"Raoul had sobered up and is making a living for Meg. They need a new start."

Erik looks at me surprised.

"I was thinking that myself. I bought them a house in a nice part of the woods close to here so Raoul can continue to work." He tells me after awhile. I am surprised.

"I'm going to tell Meg." I say running off after giving him a kiss.

"Meg!! I have something to tell you!!" I yell through the door.

"Come in." She says

"What's wrong Meg you don't seem like yourself?" I ask

"Chrissssssttttinnneeee!!!" She whimpers

"Oh god your water broke!! Come on!! ERIK!!!!" I scream at the top of my lungs. He comes rushing in asking what happened but Meg gets to it before I do by screaming.

"I'm going to put her in the car. You go find Raoul tell him what's happened." He tells me quickly, taking Meg up in his arms and running off. I take off yelling at Gustave to take care of his siblings and he doesn't ask why but yells yes back to me. Madam Giry asks what happening and I yell to her that Meg's water broke and that I had to find Raoul. When I do he looks at me funny.

"Why were you running?" He asks when I stop at him.

"Meg.......water.....broke....Erik....has...her...in...the..carragie...waiting..." I wheeze to him. He takes off and I groan but I follow.

After hours of waiting in the hospital waiting room, the doctor comes out telling us that Meg had a little girl.

I also found out today that apparently I'm cheap trash because I can afford "20 dollar shoes" They were my converses, those things cost 60 dollars or more!! I just feel like I'm done right now. 😣🔫..
