Meg's POV
Christine walks in looking all happy. I run to hug her. She hugs me back.
"Meg are you alright? You haven't hugged me like that in ages!" She exclaims as I squeeze the living daylights out if her.
"Sorry Chrissy!!! I'm just super excited!!" I tell her.
"I understand, well shall we get to packing!" She asks. I nod, but I think something is wrong. She's acting weird. I don't say anything though, I'm too excited to get out of here.
"Meg!!!" Raoul yells through the house.
"I'm upstairs darling!!!" I yell back down to him. He sprints upstairs and wraps me in a hug kissing me. I'm shocked at his gesture. Christine saw him do this, she.....giggles!!! Ok now I know something is going on!!!
"Meg....why don't you go with Raoul. I'll watch Sophie and I'll keep packing." Christine tells me. I see Raoul's face light up.
Something is definitely going on!! I agree too. We head out and I see him taking me to the docks.
"Raoul....why are you taking me to the docks?" I ask him.
"You'll see darling." He says taking my hand.
When we get to a corner he tells me to close my eyes. I do. He takes my hand and leads me over there. He tells me I can open them and I see a picnic with a bottle of wine. I stare in awe. We sit down and have our picnic. At the end he looks very nervous.
"Are you alright Raoul?" I ask.
"I'm fine just nervous." He mumbles. I grab his arm and look him in the eye. He shakes me off and gets down on one knee. I gasp.
"Meg, I've wanted to ask you this for awhile. Meg, I love you more than compare and I can't think of a world without you. Meg Giry, you are my everything, our daughter is my everything. I can't imagine a world without either of you. So bottom line, Meg Giry, Will you marry me?" He says pulling out a ring. I'm crying so much. He looks at me with passion in his eyes. I bend down to his level.
"Yes!!! Raoul De Changy!!! Yes, I will marry you!!" I tell him. He kisses me and slips the ring on my finger. I look at it. It's beautiful!! A diamond in the middle with sapphires around it. We pack up the picnic and head back hand in hand.
