There's no one here today.

I thought to myself as I walked onto the roof, a little sad smile crossing my face. For once, I'm all alone on this roof. No one to interrupt my plan to finally erase all of my bad memories.

It's just me, myself, and I.

Chuckling to myself, I thought back about the people I've saved before. The German kid, the little Asian guy, and… My own long lost twin. It would've been great if we could've gotten along, but I don't think I can go back and find them. But now…

No one can get in my way.
No one would get in the way for me.

With a deep inhale, I breathed in the last bit of calm, relaxing air that was left for me to take. It's so nice and peaceful without anyone around. I finally feel at peace being on this roof by myself.

Walking to the edge, I did the same routine I did before I was always interrupted. Untying my shoes, setting them side by side neatly on the roof as a sign of farewell. Then stepping over the railing and standing at the edge of the roof with my bare feet. I never did look down as I did this. I wanted to be sure that I wouldn't chicken out and miss this one and only chance to end it all.

Taking off my jacket,
Messing with my soft hair,
This sad boy…

Is going to jump now.

BONUS END

The sirens wailed around the city after the peace within the city had been broken by a sickening sound that had fallen from the roof. Police and other citizens swarmed the base of the tallest building in the city, each person gasping in horror at what had just happened. The whispers of pity and disgust all entering into one close friend.

“How sad… Jumping off the roof of a building…!”

“Kid these days and their drama…”

“It's so sad how young the boy was. He could've lived much longer if he hung on…”

“Hey… Isn't that Alfred?”

Sudden realization hit the schoolboy who had just happened to pass by the scene. The name was one he knew of so well. But… it couldn't be true can it? It can't be that person's one, little brother who committed suicide can it?

Slowly the mussy blonde haired boy turned to look at the scene…

Emerald eyes slowly lifting his head to the top of the building…

Before those beautiful eyes were flooded by his own tears…

At the sight of a certain bomber jacket waving in the wind.
