Raku was wearing a new dress; light green with white lace trim. It had a V neck and off the shoulder sleeves, but also went over her shoulders like a tank top. It ended just above her knees and she wore white socks that went to mid-calf then a new pair of tan sandals.

She looked young for her age but she rather liked feeling like a doll. A precious doll that Kakashi would keep safe.

As usual, they were going for their usual walk through town. This time, however, Raku wanted to try to walk without holding on to Kakashi. She was trying to get used to crowds and have at least a little independence. A little boy bumped into her a little and she looked back at his disappearing form as he merged back into the crowd. When she turned around Kakashi was nowhere to be seen. She tensed up and frantically shoved people aside to get out of the crowd. She felt very unsafe and afraid, her breathing began to get labored and she began to feel dizzy, then a bit nauseous. She backed into an ally and leaned against the wall as her legs felt weak.

There were a few footsteps than a sharp blow to her head and her world went black.

She woke up just outside the village, strung up with chains by her wrists. She was chained to a tree and suspended in the air. Her ankles were cuffed to the ground.

She pulled on the cuffs but felt her wrists crack a little under the pressure, she tried to kick but could only move about an inch.

"No point, girly." She looked up wide eyed. Four scummy looking men smirked at her. She tried to plead but realized her mouth was gagged with an old rag.

"Now that you're awake, we can test our accuracy."

She gave a confused look, then gasped as each of the men set down a sack of stones.

"If you survive all of the stones, you might get lucky." Another man winked, his buddies grinned at her.

She frantically shook her head, heart racing and pulled more on her cuffs. She did her best to scream or yell but almost no sound came out.

Three out of four sacks of rocks later, her body was covered in bruises and even a few cuts. Her dress was dirty and torn, dotted with blood. Her face was swollen and her wrists were both fractured. Her entire body ached like never before, and her eyes were red from tears.

"Last bag." One of the men smiled, picking up the first rock. He threw it and managed to hit her right temple. Her world spun as blood steadily crept down her forehead and into her eye. She gave a muffled cry and struggled again, crying more as pain exploded in her wrists.

Suddenly there was a blur of movement so fast she couldn't follow it. All of the men suddenly lay unconscious on the ground. A boy with long dark hair and a white shirt walked up to Raku slowly, she flinched and whimpered.

His blank eyes softened.

"Shhh, it's okay. I just want to help you." She hesitated but gave no further protest as he gave a chakra powered jab to all of her chains in the blink of an eye and they all snapped. She fell forward, landing perfectly into his body. She whimpered at the heavy contact as she landed on her bruises. He knelt and set her down, noting her very swollen red wrists and how her skin was nearly covered in injuries. The white haired girl whimpered and scooted back away from him with wide eyes.

"Let me help you." He said softly. "Trust me, I'm not going to hurt you."

She shook her head and tried to untie her gag but shrieked in pain as she tried to use her fingers and bend her wrists.

"Your wrists are broken. Please let me help you." He pleaded.

She eyed him warily.

"Please." He said again.

He looked at her the same way Kakashi did. With care and a bit of worry. Raku nodded and let the boy get closer to untie her gag. He tossed it aside and sat down.

"I need to take you to the hospital." He looked at the men on the ground. "And get them arrested." Or killed, he mentally added.

She opened her mouth. "Kakashi." Her voice was fragile.

The boy was surprised but he nodded. "Yes, I know Kakashi sensei. Come with me and you will see him."

She nodded, then tried to wipe the blood from her eye. She cried again at the pain in her wrist. The boy effortlessly picked her up and sped into the village.
