Dean cursed again as he got out of the car and slammed the door behind him. You got out behind Sam and he looked at you again out of curiosity. "You know them?" he asked you and you opened your mouth to respond and then didn't respond. There was no way you would admit your addiction on purpose."Uh no." You replied as you looked away from him and focused on the Ghostfacers in person. They were as nerdy looking in person as they'd been in the videos.
"You're not a fan of their show, thing, are you?" he asked in disbelief and amusement.
"Nooooo." You bit your lip and laughed nervously.
"Oh gosh, that's terrible." He visibly shivered in disdain and that made you laugh.
"How do you know them?" you asked as you noticed Dean lean against the Impala and visibly pout at the Ghostfacers.
"We've run into them a few times." Sam muttered in response. You wondered why they'd have occasion to meet. The ghostfacers chased legends and myths and well, ghosts, and they were FBI, that's not how they worked.
"We need to get rid of them." Dean sighed and stretched and you caught yourself ogling his muscular arms. Really muscular arms. Arms were great.
"Y/N." Sam said loudly and you snapped out of your daydream in embarrassment. Ugh had you just been ogling a cop? Cops weren't your thing, and definitely not cops who your whole town was probably after.
"Yeah." You said as casually as you could muster up. You hoped that they hadn't noticed your little episode. Damn, you did not go home to be thirsty.
"Think you can help out?" He asked.
"Oh yeah, sure. No problem. I gots this." You grinned at him. You must of missed the gameplan, so you hoped it would be easy enough to wing.
"Ok great. They hate us, so you need to do your part well." Sam said and you nodded.
"Got it." You replied and walked over to the ghostfacers. You had no clue what they wanted you to do, but you could get rid of the facers.
"Oh my gosh! You can't be! You are, aren't you? You're the Ghostfacers!" You improved as you approached them. They were setting their equipment up.
"Save it, we can see the Winchesters behind you." Ed replied to you and you bit your lip. Of course they could see the car, there were only two in the lot, the agents' and the Ghostfacers. You felt stupid for a moment. You weren't the brightest bulb on the Hanukkah tree.
"Ok, so obviously you know who I'm with. I am a real fan though." You recovered. "What are you doing here?" you asked as you ran a hand over a computer.
"Looking for a ghost." Ed replied suspiciously.
"Here! Where nowhere meets eternal boredom!" You let a disbelieving laugh out.
"And yet we were right, or else you wouldn't be with them." Harry replied sassily.
"Ok. You got me there. But here's the thing, they want to tie you guys up and leave you in your van on an abandoned road, but I voted that they just let you leave on your own. You know them, so you know that Sam could crush you like a bug." You lied. Inside, your mind was reeling. It figured that Sam and Dean weren't actually what they seemed. What type of cop or agent owned a sexy car like that and drove it on cases. The mileage must have been excruciatingly high.
"Look, those assholes have gotten the best of us too many times before and it's not happening again. Tell them to take their offer and stick it up their-" Ed was interrupted by Dean.
"Hey guys." He grinned at Ed and Harry and their camera person.
"Save it, we're not leaving. You're not stealing this opportunity from us. We're going to film this ghost in action and kill it." Ed boasted. "And then we're going to get that video out there in the real world.
