"Azalea you down for some pizza at Roma's?" Shonda asked."No, I'm good. Ima' just head home." I said.
"Man, all you do is listen to music, ball, and talk to no one during school." Shonda snarled. "Just one slice and you can bounce."
"That's how I like it." I shrug.
"I don't blame her." Christine says.
"Yea yea." Shonda said slamming her locker. "You coming or not?"
I did have Nana's car today, so I could leave whenever I felt like it. "You aren't gonna leave it alone are you?"
"Nope." Shonda said.
"Fine. I'll go, just one slice." I said giving in.
-"So you've never been here." Shonda asked sitting down.
"No." I said sitting my soda and pizza down.
"Damn Azalea, you really don't go out." Shonda laughs.
"Circle runs small, real small." I say.
"I feel you on that." Christine says.
"Why so cold Azalea?" Shonda teases.
But I wasn't joking. I don't talk with none of the girls nor guys at my school, always been that way. Andre, is just another fan of my balling, same with Shonda and Christine. If I wasn't a good ball player none of them would pay attention to me, period.
"Just life." I said.
-I'm honestly ready to go home, I was just sitting here while Shonda and Christine laughed and talked. Occasionally saying yea and fake smiling. They weren't my type of crowd, they talked too much for my liking.
"Girls we have company." Shonda said referring to a pair approaching our table.
"Great." I mumble to myself, already recognizing both of those faces. "Just great."
"Hey ladies." He chimed staring directly at me.
Can he not..?
"Chresanto." I snarled rolling my eyes.
"Still got that rude attitude." Jacob says.
"Still an asshole." I fired back.
"Aren't you gonna introduce us to your friends, Azalea?" Shonda smiles.
"These aren't my friends. One is a stalker and the other is a stranger."
"I'm Chresanto the stalker and he's Jacob the stranger." Chresanto smiled.
"I'm Shonda and she's Christine." Shonda giggled.
"Stop staring and just talk to her." I said to Jacob, watching as his face reddened from getting caught staring at Christine. I simply winked and laughed to myself as he avoided my eye contact.
"Richmond..."Shonda said noticing Chresanto's black and red letterman.
"Yep." He says proudly.
"Lucky y'all cute." Shonda says.
I watched as Shonda tried hopelessly to flirt with Chresanto, but was failing at every attempt. I smiled to myself and checked the time on my phone, figuring I should get home since it was getting late.
"So Chresanto are you single?" Shonda says.
"Yea, but someone has caught my eye." He says as I stood to my feet and threw away my trash.
"You're leaving Azalea?" Christine and Shonda say in unison.
"Yea." I say plugging my earphones in walking towards the door.
"See you later." Christine smiles.
"Bye." I say as I walked out the restaurant and to my car. Just as I was about to unlock the doors someone pinned me against the car, and snatched my earphones out.
"So you're not gonna say bye?" Chresanto smiled.
"What do you want?" I said rolling my eyes.
"You."
"You're playing games, and I have to go." I said.
"I'm not playing."
This guy..
"Goodbye Chresanto." I say turning around and opening my car door, only to have him shut it and turn me back around.
"Nope."
"Why are you bothering me? You don't know me? You "want" me and don't even know my favorite color!" I snarl.
"One it's fun, two let me get to know you, and three it's purple." He smiles.
"One you're weird, two that is a very massive no, and three it's red. Now move." I shoot back.
"If you leave, I'm going with you. I will sit on the back of your car. I will g-"
"Just get it in, damn. You are so obnoxious, I swear." He only smiled and walked around to the passenger side, getting in.
"What are you doing Azalea?" I sigh.
