"Nana I'm home!" I yelled out tossing my keys on the coffee table.

"Looks like Nana is gone." Chresanto said.

"Probably went to Bingo." I sighed walking to my room and walking inside.

"Never played." He says laying down on my bed.

"Don't tell Nana that she will drag you along." I say taking off shoes and jacket.

"I might just take her up on that offer." I turn around and look at Chresanto, lifting an eyebrow.

This cat it's not your average boy from Richmond..

I grab my iHome speaker and plug my phone into it, beginning to play my music.

"What?" I say looking at him, as he cleared his throat.

"I told you I wanted to get to know you. Get to it." Chresanto said.

"My name is Azalea Adams, favorite color is red, I'm seventeen, I lo-"

"That's not what I meant, and you know it." Chresanto says cutting me off.

"Then you go first."

"Not happening so you go." Chresanto shoots back.

Guess I have no choice.

"My name is Azalea Adams, or Red. I'm seventeen years old, that lady you seen walk through here with short brown curls, and thick Spanish accent is my heart, my world, I love her. I don't talk to anyone, if I didn't play basketball no one would know who I am." I chuckled.

"Keep going."

"Why does it matter to you so much?"

"Honestly, Azalea you're intriguing to me." He said. "Now keep going."

Intriguing?

"Neither of my parents are around, but I don't trip on it. Nana is all I need."

"Where are they?" Chresanto asked.

"My Dad left when I was two, then when I was three my mom died in a car accident." I sighed. "The reason I'm so fond of Nana is because she practically saved my life. Nana told me my mom wanted to take me with her that day, but Nana didn't let her they argued and bickered until my mom just walked out. Nana tried to stop her, but she didn't listen. Then we got a call saying she died in a fatal car accident."

"Damn.." Chresanto says. "I'm sorry, I ne-"

"No, you have nothing to be sorry for." I laughed cutting him off. "I'm not asking for you or anyone elses pity, this happened years ago. I ain't gon' trip over it. You just asked for my story so I told you."

"You're a soldier." He smiled.

"Always will be." I smiled back.

"Why did you kiss me the though?" Chresanto said.

I listened to Heaven or Hell by Meek Mill play from my iHome speaker, Jadakiss was rapping his verse. I rapped along with him inside my head.

Ain't nothing all good when you all broke,

So we could never be equal,

Never bite the hand that'll feed you,

Never fear a man if he bleed too.

"Somethings are better left unsaid." I say blankly.

"What aren't you telling me, Azalea?" Chresanto gazed at me.

Nothing you should know.

"Nothing, that's my story. Are you satisfied?"

"Somewhat." He smiled.

"What do you want now, Chresanto?" I said rolling my eyes.

"You."

Not this again.

"Not interested."

"We'll see." He chuckled.

There's something about this boy.
