After Sara came in the room, no one said anything. She began to change into her sleepwear and you just looked down at your hands. You could feel Fuu staring at you and you didn't want to make eye contact with her. Nobody said anything until the next morning when they woke up and headed out to find the next town.
***
You avoided Fuu during the walk as much as you could, you really didn't want to talk about last night. You don't know why you felt so weird, all you did was talk to Mugen, so why did you feel so bad?
"Hey," you look up and see Mugen next to you, with his hand behind his head.
"Oh...hey." You say not making eye contact with him. Instead you looked forward and saw Fuu talking with Jin and Sara walking ahead. Its almost sunset and you could see the lights of the town you guys were going to up ahead. There was music coming from it so you assumed that there was a festival going on.
"What's the matter with you?" Mugen asked suddenly, making you turn your attention back to him. "Nothing, I'm fine," you say but you could tell he didn't believe you. "What's the matter with you?"
You knew you hadn't been yourself since you left town but neither had he. He didn't talk the whole way which wasn't like him. Still you don't know why he would be bothered about last night, he seemed more calm than you when Fuu found him in your room.
"You're lying," Mugen said not answering your question. "About what?" You say a little annoyed. "You're not fine, somethings bothering you." He says and you stop walking. You stare at the ground frustrated. You can see Mugens shadow as he walks towards you and you look up to see him staring down at you once again.
"Do you like me or something?" He said suddenly and you blush. You cover your face but Mugen already noticed and raised an eyebrow. Something about the way he asked bothered you. He didn't sound like he cared at all. That could only mean that he doesn't like you the way you like him, which only upset you even more.
"Mugen! (Y/n)! Hurry up, the town is up ahead!"
You quickly brushed past Mugen and went towards the sound of Fuu's voice. Hopefully Mugen would forget about what you guys talked about. You hate to admit it but, you did like him, a lot. He was an annoying and arrogant but you liked spending time with him and hopefully he did too. However, you always pushed the idea of you guys being together away because you don't think that your his type.
You reach Fuu who was waving at you and smiling. "Hey (Y/n) I... what's wrong?" She asked, her smile turning into a look of concern. "What do you mean?" You ask then you feel something warm on you cheek. You touch your face and realize that you had been crying.
"Are you alright? Is this about Mugen?" Fuu asked you putting her hand on your shoulder. "No," you lied, "I was just thinking about my family." You couldn't tell Fuu the truth and that made you even more sad. "But I'm ok now so let's go to the festival," you say with a fake smile. She didn't look like she believed you but didn't ask you anymore questions. "Alright, let's go." She said and you two make your way to the heart of the city.

The festival itself was amazing. There were a variety of different games, food and entertainment that helped you forget about the events that had happened earlier. You, Fuu and Sara decided to walk around together while Mugen and Jin went their separate way. As you guys sat and watched these 3 little kids attempt to win a prize at one of the games, Sara spoke.
"I've decided to go back to my son," she said making you and Fuu to turn and look at her. You remembered her saying that she had a son back home.
"What do you mean? Your going to travel all the way back by yourself?"
Fuu sounded worried but you stayed quiet. You had a bad feeling about this. "No, that's what I was going to ask you next," she said, "I want Jin or Mugen to come with me." You and Fuu looked equally shocked. Sara got up and began walking away, most likely looking for the guys. "Wait!" You say running up to her, "which one do you want?" She gave a confused look and answered your question with another question.
"Which one do you want to stay with you? Mugen right?" You didn't know what to say. You did want Mugen to stay despite what has happened between you two earlier but you couldn't tell her that. However, before you had time to answer Jin and Mugen showed up.
"Are we done here or what?" Mugen asked yawning, "I'm stuffed." Of course those two had been eating this whole time.
"Sara is leaving," Fuu said sadly and Sara nodded in agreement. "Who's gonna pay for our food now?" Mugen asked and Fuu yelled at him. "Mugen! Why do you have to be rude!?"
Sara spoke before the two could continued to argue. "Jin, I would like you to come with me," Sara asked and Jin agreed, which shocked everyone.
"Wait it's that easy for you?" Fuu asked, obviously angry. "But we've been traveling together for a long time!" Mugen began to walk away. "Just let him go, who cares?" he said lazily and Jin and Sara began to leave as well. You went up to Fuu and put your arm around her. "It will be fine Fuu, I'm sure he'll meet up with us eventually." Fuu sniffed and rubbed her eyes. "I guess your right," she said and watched them leave.
"(Y/n)! Are you coming or what?" You heard Mugen call you and say him leaning against a tree waiting. You lead Fuu over to where he was, You didn't look up at him though. You could feel him staring at you but you just couldn't bring yourself to talk to him at that moment. You wanted to be their for Fuu right now.
"Alright, let's go," Fuu said after she calmed down and the two of you began to walk, with Mugen following close behind. Now two people short, you guys make your way away from the festival and to your next destination.
