My Samurai

Chapter 1: The Girl on The Shore

   As you regain consciousness, you find yourself surrounded by what looks like 3 people, 2 boys and a girl. You can hear them talking but can't make out any words due to your dizziness. You can feel the warm sand under your body and guessed that you had washed up on shore but from were? What were you doing before that?
    "Hey, I think she's waking up," you head a girls voice say. Once your vision clears up you can see that she is now kneeling next to you. She had on a pink kimono and short brown hair in a ponytail. "Here let me help you," she reaches over you and helps you sit up, "Are you alright?" She asks me. "Yeah...I think so...," your voice is sore. You must've been there for a while because you begin to feel hungry. "How did you end up here?" You look up to see where the voice is coming from and see a man with a long black ponytail, a purple kimono and glasses. Next to him was a man with dark skin, a red shirt and an afro. He had a bored expression on his face. "I...I don't remember how I got here...but I know I was on a boat before I was here," you tell them all that you remember from before. "Well we don't want to just leave you here so would you like to come with us? Where heading to the village a couple miles ahead," The girl tells you. She seemed really nice. "Yeah sure," you say and the girl helps you up.
     "My name is Fuu by the way," the girl says to you, "What's your name?" You think for a second until you remember. "Its (Y/n)," you finally tell her and she smiles. "That's a nice name!" The man in the purple turns to you. "I'm Jin, nice to meet you," he says and bows slightly. You smile at him and bow as well. When you turn to face the other man, you notice that he's not paying attention. Fuu begins to scold him. "Mugen! Don't be rude! Introduce yourself!" She demands. "For what? I don't need to know her, it's not like she's gonna stay with us the whole time." He says walking away. "You're such a jerk!" She yells after him, then she turns to you with an apologetic look on her face. "I'm sorry, that's Mugen, he's kind of a jerk but you'll get used to it," she tells you. You nod and start to walk with Fuu and Jin and it doesn't take long for the 3 of you catch up to Mugen. You look up at his face as you guys walked. He had the same bored expression on his face and since you were closer you could see that he had some facial hair. You couldn't help but think that he was a little attractive. Mugen turned to look at you and saw that you were already staring. "What are you looking at?" He says to you in an annoyed tone. You quickly look away, embarrassed that he has caught you staring. "Oh...nothing..." You say quietly and decide to walk a little closer to Fuu.

  "We wont reach town before sundown so let's rest here," Jin says stopping. It was almost dark and the 4 of you had reached a small clearing in the forest. "That's a good idea, (Y/n) can you help me gather some wood for a fire?" "Sure I'll help," you tell her as you help her gather up sticks. "Well while you guys work on that I'm gonna take a nap," Mugen says as he layer down against a tree with his hand behind his head. Fuu sighs annoyed as she gathers more sticks. Meanwhile, Jin went to find something to eat.
    Once you guys made your fire and set up your sleeping spot, you, Fuu and Mugen sit and wait for Jin to return. "What's taking four eyes so long," Mugen complains laying on his side, "Were gonna starve before he gets back." "Just calm down, I'll see what's taking him so long," Fuu says standing up and leaving you alone with Mugen. You feel weird just sitting in silence, so you try to make conversation.
"So Mugen, why are you guys headed to the village?" He looks at you, then rolls over on his back. "Because Fuu is  dragging us around trying to find her stupid smelly samurai," he responds. "Smelly samurai...?" You didn't understand why Fuu would want to find someone like that. Mugen sighs in annoyance. "Yeah a samurai who smells like sunflowers or something like that." You nod trying to understand but you were still confused. Mugen then rolls onto his side to face you. "Anyway, what are you doing all the way over here, you don't seem like your from this part of town," he asks you changing the subject. You sigh and look away from him. "I don't really remember that much, I just remember falling off of a boat." You look back at him and wait for his response but all he does is stare at you. You wait for a while but still no response so you decide to break the silence. "...is something wrong?" You ask making him look you in the eyes. "No I was just trying to imagine what your body looks like under those clothes." You thought you misheard him for a second. Was he joking? No, his face is completely serious. 'Did he really just say that...' You think to yourself, not believing it at first. Then your eyes go wide and a blush starts to spread across your face. "You... You Jerk!" You say, mimicking Fuu's words from earlier. "Your actually not that bad," he starts to say, but you cut him off. "I'm going to find Fuu and Jin," you say angrily as you stand up and stomp into the forest before Mugen can stop you.
