Final Chapter: Lets Go Together

You and Fuu were running from a strange man, unaware of the fighting that was going on with Mugen & Jin back at the dock. You didn't know what he wanted with you two or why he continued to chase you guys through the sunflower garden. Since all of these thoughts were running through your head, you didn't see Fuu trip ahead of you so you ended up falling onto her. Suddenly, a giant axe connected to a chain lands in front of you, and by that time you knew it was too late and that whoever was chasing you had caught up. Sure enough, you turn to see a man with an eye patch approaching you and before you can speak he punches Fuu in the stomach, knocking her out. "Fuu w-," you start to say, but are cut off by a blow to the head.

"You people are just wasting your time doing this."
Slowly, you wake up to the sound of Fuus voice. The last think you remember is being chased through the sunflowers and getting knocked unconscious. Looking up you see that Fuu is tied to a wooden cross and the person she's talking to is the man with the eye patch you saw earlier. "Mugen always hacks away without giving the hostage a second thought."

Your eyes widen at the mention of Mugen. 'Would Mugen really come and save us?' you thought then quickly dismissed the idea. 'Fuu said that her not told them that she can do it alone, so why would he follow us?' You were thinking all of these things but truthfully, you just didn't want to get your hopes up.

"Oh, he does, does he?" The man said to Fuu, "Then I suppose that means that it won't make any difference if I kill the hostage." He hit her in the stomach with the end of his weapon.
"Stop!" you yell, trying to get up but you realize that you're hands and feet are tied up. The man looks at you and smirks before continuing hitting Fuu. You continued to squirm, trying to free at least one of your hands, but the rope was too tight. "If only Mugen or Jin were here," you say quietly to yourself. You close your eyes in frustration, thinking of Mugen again & seeing how helpless you two were at the moment made you want to cry.

"Mugen." You heard Fuu gasp then you look towards the entrance of the building you guys were in. Over there stood Mugen, with wet hair, soaked clothes & a scratch on his face. You were speechless & couldn't take your eyes off of him, you couldn't believe he was actually here. "You're gonna give them back," he said to the man & the man laughs. He explains how him & his brothers are well known in the domain of Satsuma & Mugen & his friend had raided their ship. 'So they held a grudge against Mugen this whole times' you concluded & things all started making a little bit of sense.

"Our only reason for living now is to track you down and kill you," the man said, but once Mugen said how he just killed his other brother the man turned his attention to Fuu. "We don't give a rats ass about this girl's life," he said, holding his weapon up to her neck. "I'll put down my sword. In return, let the girl go." Mugen throws his sword and cuts the rope holding Fuu to the cross. Both of us looked at him shocked. "Take (Y/n) and get going. You haven't met the Sunflower Samurai yet, right?" Mugen continues but Fuu looked like she was going to cry. Then you finally realized that Mugen was going to stay and fight this guy so you guys can out of there.

"I aint gonna die. Have some faith in me." Fuu comes and cuts you free still with tears in her eyes. Once you two stand up Mugen tells you two to run so you guys quickly leave out of the backway. As you're running you begin to slow down. It felt like you were losing Mugen for the second time & you didn't know if you could deal with that. "(Y/n), hurry up!" Fuu said but then stopped when she saw the look on your face. "He said he would be fine," she says seeing how worried you look but you shook your head. "I can't leave him," your eyes start to water again, "I need to make sure he'll be ok." Fuu just looked at you and nodded without saying anything, then turned & started running again. You turned and quietly made your way back to Mugen & that man were, and hoped that he wouldn't be upset with you not leaving with Fuu.
