Lucas was the first out of both of them to wake up. Sunlight was streaming in from the window (he had forgotten to close the curtains last night), resulting in him groaning quietly. His body hurt, though that was given since he had acted so recklessly during he fight, but the weight on his chest shouldn't be from that fight and if it was he should probably go see a doctor. But then the weight he felt suddenly shifted on his chest and Lucas froze as he bent his head downwards to see what was actually moving and then he sighed, it was light and wistful.
Alex was there, sleeping peacefully. His hair glittered in the sunlight and his skin seemed to glow when the light hit it. A peaceful expression was written on his face while his breath softly fanned Lucas's neck. He was beautiful. Like he was some type of creature of light. An angel maybe, even then that's probably expressing it lightly. Lucas chuckled, he didn't even know when he actually truly fallen for this boy. It must have been sometime back, maybe during those two weeks they weren't talking. Lucas missed him. Of course he did. It was strange not having the short boy around with his shy smile and witty comment every now and then when Lucas actually got him out of his shell.
However, that didn't really explain this new coming emotion. Was this really love? In this short amount of time that he's known Alex, could Lucas really say that he loved him? Probably not...but even then. This was a strong emotion and even if it isn't love it then was it possibly a strong feeling of affection? Lucas knew it wasn't like because 'like' was too little of a emotion compared to how he felt. Because he knew that liking someone was a little different than this. Lucas just couldn't put it in words.
Alex shifted again and mumbled something below his breath. Lucas couldn't really quite make out the words since it was in a jumbled slur, but that was okay though. He doubted he really needed to know what Alex was dreaming about in the account that Alex pressed tighter to Lucas's body. This felt good, having Alex pressed up against him. It felt right, like they fitted together like a piece of a puzzle. Lucas then briefly wondered if Alex felt the same way too and then he thought back to last night.
Alex had feelings for Junior, Lucas had known that the first time he actually met the older boy, but now it was kind of hard to tell. Does Alex still have feelings for the prick? Or does Alex maybe feel more towards Lucas. Well, they certainly have kissed multiple times, however kissing doesn't really mean that you like them right? Lucas had kissed Celia many times and he didn't like her or love her for that matter. She was just someone. Maybe even a nobody to Lucas. No, Celia was more than a nobody that was for sure, because she helped Lucas through his darkest times and he once liked her but now that seemed like a very long time away and it was. Two years like he had told Alex when Celia called him. It has been two years since Lucas had felt anything for her besides friendship and even then their friendship was wearing thin. Though that was probably Celia couldn't let Lucas go for the life of her. It might just be wishful thinking on his part, but hopefully when he tells her that he doesn't love her that she would finally leave him alone.
"Lucas..." The sleeping boy mumbled and shifted until he was practically on top of Lucas. Alex's legs in between Lucas' own, an arm on his chest, fingers slowly coming to life as Alex was steadily waking up. Another grumble and a stifled yawn until Alex pushed up off Lucas's chest and looked at him with bleary eyes. Alex smiled.
"Good morning," Lucas told him, the corners of his mouth lifting and he resisted smiling like an idiot.
"Morning," Alex replied quietly, almost shyly even and didn't quite meet Lucas eyes. That fleeting urge to kiss Alex washed over Lucas again, but he warned to repress that. He really didn't want to do anything rash.
"You okay?" He asked and Alex's smile faltered a fraction, but it was still noticeable.
"Yeah, I'm okay...I just need time to think about what to do with Junior. Never really thought he would act like that." Lucas nodded and sighed, closing his eyes, head still back on the pillow.
"How are you feeling?"
"Body hurts all over," Alex chuckled, "but other then that, it's all good."
"Mm, well that's good isn't it? And your side? Any pain?"
"No, nothing that I can feel." The hand of Lucas's chest moved, slow circles forming. It was comforting and sensational at the same time. It gave Lucas a wave of passion that he didn't know he could really experience until now. He opened his eyes and turned his head to look down at Alex. The small teen was watching his fingers play with Lucas's shirt with a small content smile on his face. This had to be a dream right? This just couldn't possibly be real. It was just too good to be true.
His fingers stopped abruptly, and clenched a fistful of Lucas's shirt. Lucas tensed and pressed Alex closer to him (which was impossible, Alex was practically on top of Lucas already, but that didn't mean Lucas stopped trying).
"What's wrong?" His voice was low and probably quiet enough that anyone that wasn't close to Lucas wouldn't be able to hear. But Alex heard because he flinched and relaxed his hand."Nothing," Alex breathed long and heavy, "we just have school today. We should get going, you know so we aren't late."
"Can't we just stay here all day? Won't you lie with me and just forget the world?"
Alex snorted, "Did you just..."
"I did," Lucas laughed, "Problem?"
"No," the small teen lifted his body off of Lucas's again and kissed the corner of his mouth, "not at all."
"Mhm," he hummed right before he captured Alex's lips. The temptation was too great this time, he thought. The kiss was just like the others. It was slow, meaningful, passionate and chaste all at the same time. This kiss was something different somehow. True, it was just like the other, however it had a different feel to it. It felt more intimate than the other times. Maybe that was because of the environment. Lucas and Alex had slept together and had woken up together. Almost felt like this kiss was some type of unspoken promise. A promise of what, Lucas didn't exactly know, but it was there and he felt it right to the very core of his heart.
And then it stopped.
Time was slowly coming back when Lucas pulled away and sighed contently. He was happy right now, with Alex right next to him. Lucas felt like he belonged right there. Huh, when did he ever start thinking things like this. He was changing and rapidly at an alarming rate all because of this one boy. This one cute, simple, shy, sassy boy and it was scary. Absolutely terrifying. But as he thought about it more, maybe it was okay. Maybe since it was Alex changing him, everything would be okay. He doubted he would change around his father (the poor bastard didn't care anyways right?), but if he accepted that woman...Rose... Could this possibly end differently. This situation in which Lucas was in now was already a beautiful one.
Since his...since his mother didn't want him to go back to London and his father gives a rats ass, did that mean Lucas was going to stay here? It wouldn't be so bad right? Lucas looked at Alex when he opened his eyes and was created with the wonderful sight of Alex looking away from him with a blush prominent on his cheeks. He was beautiful. Smiling, Lucas lifted a hand to caress this stunning boys' face. His gray eyes was met with the other blue-green with a questioning gaze. No, he thought to himself, this probably wasn't a bad thing at all.
