SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT!

Not edited, or edidid, or editeded...

She wanted to die.

No, she wished for it. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw the life leave the Feudal Lord's eyes.

She committed many more horrors for the Akatsuki, and the guilt haunted her. She wanted it all to end.

But she couldn't allow that to happen. She couldn't let herself slip away.

Yuzuki Hatake had always drawn the short stick in life, that is, until she transferred to the Leaf Village. She was able to form bonds and be happy. But then the Akatsuki tried to take Naruto and ruined it all. It was the  catalyst that set her life on a path to self-destruction.

Now she stood on a tree branch, scanning the busy street for the man that she was supposed to be meeting. For the third time, she opened the scroll clasped between her hands and scanned the words written down on the parchment. She had everything but was careful not make anything obvious. It was coded; she was sure he would understand it. A familiar head of spiky blonde hair came into view and she let a smile form on her lips. He had grown so much since the last time she saw him. And wanted nothing more than to just hear his happy voice again; the joy in his cerulean eyes. But, she couldn't face him.

Not after all that she'd done.

When her smile fell and she turned her head, she found the old fart she'd been waiting for. His head was bowed low with his arms crossed over his chest. She quickly threw the hood of her cloak over her head, and created the tiger seal. Chakra flaring, her body flickered and she was gone. The next moment, she was standing in a shadow, her head low as she turned her head to the side to see the man. "You have the intel?"

"Yes, Perverted Sage."

"Don't call me that," he grumbled, taking the scroll from her and pocketing it.

She turned to go when he stopped her, his eyes flicking to the people behind him before asking, "How are you doing?"

A shadow flashed in her eyes as she looked up at him. He noticed the bags under her eyes and the guilt in her expression. She almost seemed... haunted. "How do you think?"

Yuzuki grimaced as she approached the Akatsuki hideout, she couldn't sense who was in there and sighed. The entrance to the hideout wasn't anything obvious, but it also wasn't too obscure, just a cave entrance. But to make sure travelers didn't wander in, there was a protection seal keeping a traveler from entering. When they made contact with it they would forget what they were doing and get turned away some how. The jutsu was her own doing.

She stepped through the opening in the side of the cliff, running her fingers along the stone wall as she made her way into the dark cave until she spotted a dim sconce lit on the wall, it's flame flickering and dancing as she passed by. When she reached a door at the end of the cave, with a serpent etched into the dark wood, she sighed. There was yelling within and she could already tell that it was Deidara and Hidan.

She eased the door open and found Deidara in hand to hand combat with the immortal being, then reach for his detonation clay. "Hidan, stop provoking him!" Growling, she formed a barrier around Deidara as he set one of his little clay-creatures loose. Then a chain shot out from the barrier and pushed him outside the wall of chakra. The ground vibrated with the explosion, and she had to cover her eyes from the glare.

There was a crater in the middle of the room and her anger flared, a vein popping on her forehead. "Dammit Deidara! What did I tell you about setting your little critters off in the hideout?!" She bit out, stalking up to him and grabbing him by the collar.
