(Delirious POV)
I stretched myself and groaned. The memories from the past days flew through my mind like an avalanche, and I opened my eyes just to see emptiness in my, Luke's, room.

I get off the bed, still half asleep walked into the kitchen where I saw my best friend eating. The sun was already creeping through the windows so I naturally assumed it's behind morning.

I grabbed a plate and joined Luke. He smiled at me.

"I'm sorry for last night Jon. I was super tired. But you can tell me now. How was your interview?"

I can't tell him the whole truth. Or can I?

"Well it went really great actually. He gave me a chance to work there, and trust me it was hard to convince him."

"So you're doing that waitress?"

I won't lie. I won't lie!

"I'm not sure. He just said I had to be there at 6 pm. He didn't really say much."

Luke nodded his head and took his last bite, then stood up and looked at me.

"I have a way around that place, so I can give you a ride."

I knew he didn't trust me completely to let me go anywhere without guarding me. He even picked me up yesterday after I was done with my interview. And even though I was slightly pissed about it, I welcomed it at the same time. Being cared about was the best.

"That sounds awesome, thanks," I replied with grin.

I ran into the building, panting like never before. We watched some movies with Luke together and completely forgot about the time. I was fifteen minutes late. As I straighten myself I felt so many eyes on me. Nervousness slowly took control over my body and I looked around just to see unfamiliar faces around.

"Hey, sexy. Come and join us," one of the women came to me, taking me by my shoulders.

"N-no... I... I'm here to talk with your higher authority," I repeated the same sentences as the day before.

"I can be your higher authority if you want," she whispered and winked at me.

Sorry honey, I'm not into you.

"Let him be, Steph. You're late." I heard the familiar voice, forcing that girl to let me go.

I walked towards him, bowing my head in shame.

"I'm sorry," I mumbled silently, and looked at him.

I saw his annoyed look, which made me angry inside. I knew I was irresponsible, but I hated that he was judging me from the first moment.

"Just come with me," he sighed, and I silently followed him, not daring even breath.

"What's your name again? I don't think I catch that yesterday," he asked, but I already knew he was uninterested in the answer.

"J-Jonathan," I replied.

"Fine. Think about some nickname you want our clients to call you. I want it by tomorrow."

I silently nodded in response. He led me downstairs into the gym room where we're already people doing some exercises. I was amazed by this, and at the same time terrified.

"Before I let you talk with people, I need your body to be in better shape. I'm giving you let's say a month to build yourself up. I expect you going here everyday."

I slowly started to consume his words into the meaning of it, and I slowly frowned.

"Wait... but I'm gonna get paid for this, right?" I asked just to confirm my theory.

He rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"You though I'll give you money for it? Here work people who wants to work here. This is their free time. If you don't like it, then leave."

I was angry, but I just slowly nod.

I'm not showing him that he won. That's exactly what he expects. I can work out without the payment, right? Dammit, that's not fair. I wanted to help Luke.

"Good, get to work. And pay me a quick visit before you leave," he turned himself, but I stopped him.

"Wait! I haven't known I would be in the gym. I don't have anything to be in."

He scanned me from chin to toes, and shrugged.

"I really don't care," he left me, standing there in anger.

This is it. I'm leaving, fuck this place. Byron is a fucking liar. This place is a nightmare. But... I want to show him that I'm not breakable. Plus maybe this is one of my chances to meet Oliver again.

I tried to talk with some people but they ignored me, like I was nothing but a invisible ghost. I felt terrible, and the worst was being alone in there, but I kept Oliver in mind, giving myself some courage to continue.

After two hours of my work out, I went to meet my new boss. I already felt my muscles sore. He was sitting behind the table again.

"I'm done," I greeted him a bit tiredly.

He raised his sight from the papers and stretched himself.

"I'm impressed. I'll see you tomorrow," he replied, paying the attention back to the papers.

I turned myself to leave, when I heard his next words.

"And don't worry, it will be paid. I just wanted to see if you're here only for the money or because you wanted. 6 pm. tomorrow."

On the way to Luke's car I couldn't erase my victory smile. Even though I knew my every muscle will hurt tomorrow, I was feeling great.

I'll make some friends, get a new life. And then  Oliver will forgive me for everything. I just know that.
