Well, well, well... here you go! Not exactly free from work yet, but I was able to write something yesterday. Thank you so much for every kind word, you held me above the water. Enjoy ^.^
—————————————–——–—(Vanoss POV)
I knew he was fed up, he was feeling pushed away, but I couldn't tell him my feeling as plainly as I almost did. This was a whole new thing for me, and I also needed to be sure that Jonathan wouldn't reject me."You want more?" Sydney smiled at him, but he just silently shook his head.
"Ok," she mumbled, walking away.
"I talked with Luke. Bryce is going to visit us today," I started the conversation, watching him shrug his shoulders.
"I just want to inform you, I'll be in the work during that time. Sydney is here if anything, ok? Or just call me," I said, expecting some kind of a response.
He just hummed, standing up. It hurt me seeing him like this, but I didn't know what was the reason.
Because I refused to sleep with him?
"I just want to inform you, I'm coming back to Luke soon," he stated, walking away.
Coming back? What? No!
"You can't go back. I need you here," I whispered, now to myself because he was already gone.
Reality hit me harder than a rock, leaving me breathing heavily. The picture of him being out of this house was crushing me. I got so used to his presence, that not having him out was like a nightmare.
He's going to change his mind after that wedding. I'm sure of it!
After I dressed myself, my legs carried me to the living room, where I stopped myself. I considered saying goodbye to him, but I also knew he was still upset. I knew he wouldn't even care.
So without any single word, I left the house, my heart already heavy from my decision. I wanted to be quick with the problems Sydney was talking about, so I could be back home and study, if Jonathan felt something towards me or if it was just a side effect of his abused character.
I waved at everybody in the hallway on my way to the office, sighing when I saw so many papers on the table. The moment I sat down on the chair, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in," I said loudly, looking through the papers.
"I've had enough!"
I raised my head, seeing some tall dark haired man. I had no idea who that man was, and mainly how did he got into my office so easily.
"Calm down," I said, seeing him cross him arms.
"Calm down?! Ya calm down, fella! I demand that employee of yers!" He said still loud, his Irish accent selling him out.
"Excuse me?"
Why does everybody want Jonathan? He's mine.
"Ever since I saw that employee, I've started to ask for him. But yer all saying ya don't know who am I talking about!" He replied instantly.
"We can talk about this, just calm down. Who are you anyway?"
He sat down against me, tapping with his fingers on his thighs.
"My name's David, I was here some time ago like a customer. I want him, mister Fong. I'm prepared to pay a big cash."
But I'm not going to sell him. Not anymore.
"I'm sorry, but Delirious not available. He quitted this job," I explained.
"What? Who's Delirious? That's the blue eyed man, eh? I don't want him, I want that other guy."
I confusedly scratched back of my head. Opening the drawer, I pulled out the book with the photos and job names of my employees. I opened it, putting it in front of him.
"What guy?" I asked.
He turned all the pages twice, before pushing the book towards me with a unsatisfied expression.
"He's not here, but I remember him!"
"These are all my employees. Whoever fucked you here, wasn't one of my people," I informed him, now concerned about the safety.
So I have some man fucking my customers? How's that even possible? Who let him in?
"What? No! He didn't fuck me. He was here with Delirious that day."
"What?" I asked again, now more confused than ever.
With Delirious?? Who? When? Maybe Luke?
"Look, I want that man. 10 000$ for that man, mister Fong."
What? Ten thousand for one man? I'll look at the footage then.
"I still don't know what you're talking about. I assure you that I'll do my best to find him though. Now, if you excuse me, I have some important papers to do," I said, pointing at the papers on the table.
"I hope yer man of yer word. I'll come back tomorrow, and I hope yer gonna have some good news for me."
With that the tall Irishman stood up and walked away, leaving me with more questions and paperwork.
10 000!
I grabbed first papers into my hands, when there was yet another knock.
"Come in," I repeated, already hating the decision to come back to work during the day, when most people don't have anything to do other than rehearse or work out.
"We shouldn't have told you, Evan, but this is so wrong," Tyler walked in, closing the door behind.
"What are you talking about?"
"Mark and Felix argued to the point they had a fight. They're both currently home with several bruises and cuts. They're unable to work."
Anxiety filled my body, my protective side woke up immediately.
"What? They fought? Why? When? Are they ok?" I asked quickly, worried about my employees.
"They're fine. The main reason of their fight was Jack. They're both constantly trying to get his attention. Sydney told us not to spread this further, but I believe you have the right to know something like this."
They both like Jack, that's nothing new. I had no idea they would fight because of that. What am I suppose to do now? Fire one of them? That's like siding with another one. Fire Jack? They're gonna hate me both.
"And Evan?" Tyler reminded me, that he was still here.
"Yes?" I asked with a sigh.
"I-I think... I think you should stop getting me Thompson," he said, making me confused from his words.
"What?"
"I'm afraid of loosing Kelly, because she seems to be little bit distant lately. And I'm getting attached to Craig. You alone say that a relationship between us and a clients are forbidden. I... I wish to stop seeing him."
And I thought I was going to be home soon.
