Chapter 6

Once dressed and once my hair is straightened , I go to the living room. Mom is drinking a mug of coffee while in her scrubs.

"You work today?" I ask.

"Yeah. Do you patrol today?" Mama asks.

"Yeah. I patrol everyday after school." I reply.

With that, I am out the door. I am meeting Embry at the school. I wanted to walk alone. I walk all the way to school and see Embry waiting by the door. I smile and I jump into his arms.

"Hello, love. Happy Tuesday." Embry says with a chuckle.

"Happy Tuesday. Yeah, whatever." I chuckle back at him.

"Wanna go on a date Saturday night? I patrol that day. I can shower and stuff after and then pick you up." Embry suggests.

"Sure. I'd love to, Embry." I smile. I don't patrol on weekends. Just Monday through Friday after school.

"Sweet!" He chants. "Let's get to class."

School is out and I am just now stripping from my clothes to phase. Once phased, Embry and Paul approach me in their wolf form.

We head to the Cullen territory border. I see Bella fall and I hear her spine snap. Edward rushes to catch her head.

Go tell Sam, Maria. Bella is giving birth. - Embry

I nod my wolf head and I take off running towards Sam. I howl so e will be in wolf form at the clearing.

I stop in the clearing as see Sam.

It's happening. Bella is giving birth. Get the others and hide out -Maria

Alright. Thanks Maria. -Sam

I run back to my spot between Paul and Embry. By that time, Jacob is outside crying.

She didn't make it -Paul
Oh no. -Maria

I see Jacob stand up and wipe his tears. He slowly walks inside. Sam and the others are at the edge of the woods. Embry and Paul just now joined them. I was told to stay put, because I am a new wolf and new to this pack.

I huff and lay my huge wolf body down and watch trough the grass. Jacob just phased in front of Sam. They growl and snap at each other.

"Jacob imprinted." Edward informs, reading Jacobs mind.

I tilt my head to the side in confusion.

"It is their most absolute law. No imprint can be harmed by another pack member." Edward explains.

I huff and growl a little at Edward.

"He imprinted in Remeseme." Edward says.

I shake my wolf was and I jog to Sam's. I phase and get dressed. I eat dinner with Emily then I walk home.

I go to my room and change into some pajamas then I crawl into bed.
