How to love.

Chapter 11

I put my my ripped jean capris and my 'Yin N Yang' tank top. I put converse heels on then I head to the bathroom. I straighten my hair then I do a Dutch braid. I go to ur living room and see her in Wonder Woman scrubs.

"Embry is almost here." She says as she sees me.

"Alright. I'm dressed." I tell her with a small smile.

We don't wait long before Embry is outside and knocking on the front door. At least he doesn't honk the horn...:

We drop mama off at the hospital and drive to Forks. The treaty has ended when Edward changed Bella. In the clearing, I take my seat on the same rock as yesterday. I am not staying long because I told Emily on the phone on the way here I wanna cook supper for the guys and me, plus Emily and Leah.

Edward starts off with Bella. Jasper grabs Esme then they begin. Emmett is training with Sam again. That vampire is one brave thing. Alice grabs Rosalie. Carlisle with Embry. They all pair up and start to train.

I go ahead and start my walk in the woods towards Sam and Emily's. I don't phase. I wanna feel the wind on my human skin.

I come to a halt when I see a flash of black in front of me. A girl, about sixteen, stops in front of me. Her eyes are blood red.

"I am Jane. Jane Valturi." The girl says.

I gasp and I phase. My clothes ripping. I run back to the clearing. Everybody stops and looks at my frantic wolf.

Jane is in the woods -Maria

They all take off running into the woods. I run to Emily and Sam's and I phase. I put on some ball shorts and a black t-shirt that Emily gives me then I go inside.

I make Cajun baked chicken, baked beans, barbecue hamburgers and hotdogs, corn, green beans, grits, a small lot of pinto beans, and macaroni and cheese. I make five gallons of sweet tea.

"Oh Maria. Thanks dear!" Emily praises before hugging me.

I hug her back. "It's no problem. They've never had my cooking." I say as I eat my plate.

The boys come in while I am on my their bite.

"Who cooked?" Jared asked as he takes a bite of the chicken.

"I did." I raise my hand.

Embry chokes on his tea and stares at me wide eyed. "Really?!" I shouts, clearly shocked Emily didn't cook.

"Yes. Really. Is it good?" I ask.

"Amazing!" Kim says in pure bliss.

"I love it. I have a girlfriend who can. Cook. Heck yes!" Embry chants.

I shake my head at his silliness. I kiss his cheek before gathering all the empty dishes. I wash them up then return to the kitchen.

"Embry, I'm tired. Can you take me home? I need some sleep." I say.

"Sure. Let's go." Embry says with a smile.

I go outside and get in Embry's truck. He drives me home.

"Your cooking was amazing." Embry compliments.  

"Thanks." I grin. "I am going to go inside and go to bed."

With that, I walk inside my house and go to my room. I change into pajamas and I climb into bed. I easily drift off to sleep.
