I am sitting at Emily's while the rest of the pack are at the battle. Alice says they have finally arrived. I am watching the pilot all issues with Emily on the tv.
"I hope everything goes okay." I reply.
"Me too. Me too." Emily says wth a sigh of worry.
The political show goes off so Emily switches the tv to Freeform. Gilmore Girls are on.
"Oh I love this show!" I chant and point my finger at the tv.
"I enjoy it too." Emily chuckles at my reaction.
We are in the middle of a good movie when the phone rings. Emily hops up and goes to answer it. Her happy gave soon turns to horror.
"What happened?" I ask as soon as she hangs the phone up.
"Seth..... He's hurt. E is at the Cullen's. Come on." Emily demands.
We run out run and get in Emily's jeep. She speeds up their rocky driveway and speeds the rest of the way to Forks.
"He's okay." Edward says coming outside.
"Good. Good." I sigh in relief.
Embry comes out. I smile widely and I run into his arms. He hugs me back tightly and groans at our closeness.
"I'm glad you're okay!" I kiss him and I pull away.
"I'm ere baby. Like I said that first day I met you. I'll be your hero baby. Only if you'll let me." Embry says.
"Be my hero, baby." I whisper in his ear.
"I'll be your hero." He whispers back.
