I tried to go after Maya when Lucas announced to us that she was depressed. There is no way she was, I refused to believe it. The strong Maya Hart depressed? No!
I got up to go to the bathroom, I told them I just needed to think (and go obviously, it's that time of the month). When I reached in my locker to grab a pad, Farkle tapped my shoulder.
He... kissed me. I stood there in a state of shock thinking. Farkle Minkus just kissed me and I enjoyed it? During a time like this?!
"Farkle-" I began.
"Riley, the world is scary out there. Maya being depressed just made the world real for me. I want to be there to make sure you're okay. I want you to be there for me when I need you. Things just flashed for me Riley. I want to walk through the real world with you... in a boyfriend sort of way,"
I just stood there. Did I like Farkle? I was supposed to like Lucas!
"Farkle, for how long?" I asked, almost tearing up.
"Since the day we met Riles," he smiled.
This whole time. This whole time I thought I was supposed to like Lucas. In reality, I don't like him like that. Maya likes him like that. I need someone like Farkle. I like Farkle.
"Farkle, I would love to be your rain of sunshine in this scary, dark world." I leaned in and kissed Farkle again.
*flashback over*

I know! Don't hate me for making this update short. I have a school event to go to, but I did promise a flashback to this moment, didn't I? Expect two updates on Sunday, I'm busy all day this Saturday (dance is life yo).
