"Should we leave here?" Angela asked, her face filled with worry. Mrs. Jarvis, Trish and Chris all gave each other a look of hidden fear. "We definitely should. Trust me." Chris responded confidently, as she stood up. "I think you're all overreacting a bit.." Tommy added, still sitting on the floor.

"I think we should leave too. I need to go get my friends, I don't want to leave them.." Angela spoke up before approaching the exit. Trish quickly stopped her from opening the door. "No, you can't leave. It's storming outside and we need to stay together." Angela tried to speak only to be interrupted by Chris.

"Agreed. We need to stay together. We're safer and stronger in numbers." Mrs. Jarvis picked up the phone and dialled 911, only to be greeted with a busy phone line. "The phones must be down..." Mrs. Jarvis announced. Tommy walked over to his mother. "Don't worry mom, we'll be fine.. The phone lines will be back up tomorrow, guaranteed. We've got nothing to worry about."

"What about my friends? Please, I need to at least explain myself while I still have the chance.." Angela pleaded to Trish. Trish hesitantly agreed to let Angela go...but not alone. "I'll go with you, so you're not alone." Trish replied. Angela nodded with determination. "No, you two aren't going to walk around in the woods in this weather at this time of night.." Mrs. Jarvis raised her voice.

"Mom...we have to go. Her friends could be in danger." Trish tried to convince Mrs. Jarvis to let them go. "There and back? I'll be checking the time, Trish." Trish smiled and her and Angela were off. "Chris, stay with us please... I think you've been through enough." Chris agreed with a smile, still worried about her attacker.

Trish and Angela stepped outside into the night and gave each other a look of uneasiness, then they were off. The rain was loud but not deafening. It was ruthless as it fell like miniature explosions shaking the ground. "So....where are you from?" Angela asked, eager to have a conversation to end the silence. "I'm from Toronto... How about you?" Trish replied, happy to answer. "Not too far from here. It really is a nice community. I've always wanted to live in the city though. Just more to explore."

The girls continued walking, the rain pouring down hardly bothering them as if it wasn't even there. Angela looked around and set her eyes on a pile of rocks. The rocks were knocked over. "Okay, we're almost there now. I had these as markers earlier. Just so I wouldn't get lost." Trish nodded with a grin. "That's smart. I don't think I could've thought to do that, had I been in your position of course." Angela laughed a little bit, keeping her voice lower. "The thought of getting lost in the woods isn't enough to motivate you?" Trish stuck her tongue out playfully.

The two continued walking until they were interrupted by the sound of footsteps. Trish stopped walking and held her arm out to her right, stopping Angela with it. "Did you hear something?" Angela asked, removing Trishs hand from her chest. "I heard footsteps.." Trish responded with a whisper.

They saw nothing but blackness in the dark forest around them. Nothing could be heard but their own breathing and the howling of the wind. Trish shrugged her shoulders and signaled Angela to continue walking. "It must've been nothing..." Trish said as she kicked her foot in the puddle. They continued walking along the path until the lights emanating from the cabin were finally visible through the darkness.

Angela sprinted to the door, Trish slowly trailing behind her. The door creaked open and Angela poked her head in. She surveyed the area and saw nothing out of the ordinary. However, none of her friends were present. "See anything?" Trish asked, looking around the cabin. Angela stepped inside the cabin and looked for any sign of life. "Nope. I don't see anyone. Something happened here because everything is a mess." Around Angela was a clattered mess of sheets and glass. She kneeled down and picked up a shard of glass. Blood.

"T-Trish....." Angelas body suddenly froze and she was unable to move. She felt a cold chill move throughout her body. She heard footsteps again. Slower this time. She mustered up the courage to turn her head. Trish was standing in the doorway, soaking wet and confused. "What is it?" Trish whispered as she approached Angela. Angela smeared the blood around on the shard of glass and dropped it on the floor. "That looks like blood. Where are your friends?" Trish asked, unable to take her eyes off of the shard.

Angela stood up and shivered again, another cold chill catching her off guard. "Let's check the rooms and then get out of here." Angela said, uneasiness taking over her expression. "Do you think they're pulling a prank on us?" Trish asked, attempting to learn more about Angelas friends. Angela shook her eyes in thought for a second and then nodded.

Angela crept to the back rooms as Trish trailed behind, investigating anything unusual. Angela walked around the corner to the room on the left and gasped. Trish sprinted to her and looked in the doorway only to see the corpses of the friends she's heard so much about. "Oh my god!" Trish pulled Angela out of the doorway and held her. Angela couldn't hold back the emotions that were bottled up inside and she burst into tears.

The two held each other for what seemed like forever when it was realistically only for a few moments. Time seemed to stop. Everything was quiet except the light sniffling of Angela attempting to ignore her nose running. Trish finally released from the hug, feeling the cold of the night once again.

Suddenly, the dark figure emerged from the cabin doorway, anger in his stature. He seemed to be never-ending in terms of body length. Each of his breaths were long and intense. Angela looked up, her body frozen with fear and her lips trembling. She couldn't speak. Trish grabbed her by the hand and pulled her into the room on the right.
