Me and dad walked backed to where mom was waiting for us. When she saw me she was shocked and very concerned about all the blood. She then demanded to know what happened, to which my dad simply responded: "Our daughter here met, fought and beat Kuma's son and well... Then she met Kuma."

"I'll assume you interfered to save her", mom asked him.

"She would have been able to escape if she really thought about and didn't panic as much."

Once more, there was a look of shock and complete disbelief. She walked over to me, put a hand on my hand and asked: "I-Is what your dad says... t-true?"

"There were some openings I could have escaped through, in hindsight. I was just too overwhelmed by his power and thought I was as good as dead."

"Most people are when they meet that man. The fact that you managed to create openings is very impressive."
She then jumped up and pointed towards a tower in the distance. "That right there", she said. "Is Mountington. We're almost there. Once we arrive, we'll find you a doctor."

"Sure thing, mom", I smiled and we continued on our journey. Nothing else really happened along the way.

We arrived a couple of hours later. Mountington was a nice town. It had a lot of similar looking houses and a unique town square, with a beautiful town hall and a large tower that made up most of the town's defenses.

We first went to the marketplace, where dad sold our cart and leftover supplies as we wouldn't be needing them anytime soon. The merchant seemed to know my parents and gave them a lot more money for it than he normally would have.

We then headed over to a dodgy alleyway where all sorts of strange stores tried to sell all kinds of poison or arcane goods. I was convinced most of these objects wouldn't work or have some unintended side effects, but there must be some idiots who buy this stuff. Otherwise, these stores would have gone out of business a long time ago.

We stopped at a store, with a door that'd almost fallen off if it wouldn't rot away first, that had a big sign in front that read:
Madam Illuya, Herbalist.

As we entered the store, a strong smell of herbs hit my nose and I had trouble breathing for a couple of seconds. My mom called for Illuya and from behind the corner came an old woman with a top hat and a cane. It was quite the sight to behold, but she immediately seemed to know what was expected of her and started examining my injuries.

After a relatively quick examination, she applied some herbal salve to my wounds and told me to stay the night as she claimed I needed to rest. I insisted that I had plenty of energy left but my parents told me to listen to Illuya as she knew what she was doing.

We stayed there for three days and I had never felt more tired in my life. When I asked Illuya what caused this, she said her salve sped up the natural healing process and that requires a lot of energy.

As soon as my injuries had healed we went to the town hall and asked if we could speak to the mayor. The secretary nodded and went to fetch the mayor.

After we waited quite a bit an old man in robes approached us and said: "Good day. How may I help you?"

"We're looking for an organization called the 'Bloody Smile Corporation'. Do you have any idea where to find them?", my dad said.

"Oh yes", the mayor replied. "Those guys. They're a well-known nuisance in this town."

"Then how come they're still around?"

"Well, you see, the town is governed by the town council and well...
THEY ARE THE COUNCIL..."
