I hardly slept that night. How could I? I was going to help start a war the day after and I just found out my parents used to be some elite soldiers that fought in many wars with impossible odds.

It's a good thing my body was filled with adrenaline the next morning. Otherwise I would have been too tired to stand. My parents looked calm as always and so did Bernard, Blood, Pain and Jake. Those four had of course been preparing for weeks so it was only logical that they were calm.

Bernard carried a long katana with him and the others were armed as well: Blood had a massive sword strapped to his back, Pain carried all kinds of guns all over her body and Jake had two short-swords and a spear with him.

"Hey, little girl", Pain said to me. I was surprised to hear such a feminine voice come out of such a terrifying person. "Are you going to be fine? Killing people without weapons I mean."

Before I could open my mouth, which took a bit longer because I was so tired, my dad answered in my stead: "I know how strong she is. She's more than capable of killing a regular person. Mentally however, I do not know."

"I'm fine, dad", I answered. I didn't feel like giving them a detailed explanation so my answer was rather short.

We walked through the streets of Mountington, people were closing their windows and avoiding us, which was only logical seeing how we were all armed. As we arrived at the town hall we were being expected by guards wearing a uniform that had the Corporation's logo on it.

"I'm sorry mayor", the tallest one said. They were all armed with axes and swords. "But I can't let these other guys in."

"Move if you value your life", was the response the mayor gave him.

"Geez, calm down", the guard tried to laugh it off, but before he could say anything else, the mayor had disappeared and reappeared behind them while having cut off all of their heads.

"How did you do that", I exclaimed. His incredible speed amazed me almost as much as mom's.

"He's fast, but", my mom said. "He's fast in short bursts and loses mobility because of that."

"So you noticed", Jake then responded. "You must be pretty fast yourself."

Mom smiled and we went inside the building. We walked through the hallway until we reached the door of the council's meeting room. As we neared the door, we all got into position before Blood kicked the door down with his strong legs and we all ran in.

"I gathered you all here today...", Bernard told them as he slowly unsheathed his sword. "To DIE."

As he said that, we all killed our targets. I simply punched them really hard in the chest and pierced through their bodies until I could feel the beating of their hearts in my hands before crushing those into a bloody pulp.

There was blood everywhere as we all looked each other in the eyes and nodded in agreement before Pain took the word: "We can no longer turn back, guys. This means war..."
