Bored. That's what I was bored. I had nothing to do because I was already ready. Sitting on my bed, I just lay there, eyes closed breathing softly and if anyone were to come into my room they'd think I was sleeping. And that's probably what Gaara thought when he walked into my room, I had sensed him as he came in because his sand smelled of blood. Then a heavy thump told me he had taken off his gourd, his quiet feet, padded over to my bed and the dip in the mattress said he had seated himself.

The heavy shadow of his hand over my face told me he was hesitant. "I know your awake." I sighed and tsked. Opening my eyes, he looked down at him his big sea green eyes studying me, "why did you do, what you did?" He asked, I shrugged and sat up, "I don't know...maybe I was happy you had a challenge and that, it didn't bore you, I mean you do like a challenge in your battles, right?" I asked him and he didn't response. "Gaara?" I called to him but he wouldn't answer, he must be lost in thought, grabbing some paper I scribbled a quick note and as a cute harmless joke taped it to Gaara's chest with a small 'read me' sign on the blank folded side. Leaving the room, I tugged on my shoes and left the apartment. Walking around I took in the sights and sounds of the village, wondering if it would be able to survive the ambush planned for it at the end of the month. Thinking logically I didn't think it would, our plan is too well prepared for it not to work. A cute tea house sat on my left.

Smiling I went in. I was greeted kindly and a waiter took me to a table. Sitting down I ordered one of the specials and the guy left with my order. Looking around it was a quiet and calm setting something you wouldn't find in your average drinking establishment. "Mind if I join you?" Looking to see who I shook my head. "Not at all, um do you know who your fighting?" I asked the raven haired boy across from me. He nodded. "It's the red head from your team, Gaara." I blinked in surprise, "wow, okay, well that sucks I wanted to go up against the Sharingan I wanted to see if it really lives up to the rumours." I said coldly. "Really? Your not afraid of my eyes?" "Only if your not of mine." I said flashing my Kyuubi eyes. He blinked back surprise and shock. "How is that possible?" He said staring into my still reddish orange eyes.

"My teammate, Naruto. Has the same eyes only he can't control it like you seem to." He said when he saw my confused look. "Oh, well then I should go see him then." I said getting up, but his hand reached out and stopped me, "um...your still holding my hand." I said, letting go I sat and he relaxed. "Are you training with anyone right now?" I asked, he shook his head, "no not yet." I nodded he had shown a lot of speed in his battle in the prelims, finishing my drink, I ran through things I could teach him before he got a teacher for the month. Some ideas came to mind, putting some money on the table I grabbed his hand, "come." I said pulling him after me.

Arriving at one of the training fields I stood across from him. "Why are we here?" He asked. "I'm going to help you a bit." He frowned "who said I needed–" flashing in front of him with a knife to his throat I said, "you were saying?" He gulped and nodded, twirling my knife I smiled, "okay! Let's get started."
