The tension was thick in the camp. A few of the braver students were standing by their teachers, but the rest were hiding in their tents, panicking. Ozpin, Goodwitch, Professor Port and Doctor Oobleck faced the threat before them without even a hint of fear or regret. Finally, Kenzo stood at the front gate, glaring at Torchwick with a burning fury in his eyes. EMZ was holstered on his back and he was gripping EMZ tightly and had to resist the urge to attack because, as Kenzo had already expected, Torchwick hadn't come alone.
Behind Torchwick was a small army of White-Fang soldiers. There were hundreds of Faunus, dressed in White Jackets, Black Hoods and Grimm Masks and all of them were either carrying a pistol, rifle or a sword. Just a few feet away from Torchwick, a Male Bull-Faunus with Red and Brown hair watched the situation. His Coat, Trousers and Shoes were completely Black and he wore the same mask as the other White-Fang members, but with a Red pattern printed on it. He simply stood with the army, looking like a bigger threat than Torchwick.
"So...You must be Ozpin's boy! Pleasure to meet you...Now get the Hell out of my way." Torchwick greeted, attempting to faze Kenzo.
Kenzo shook his head slowly and pulled EMZ out of the holster. He softly pushed the blade into the dirt and let go, allowing it to stay suspended. Cracking his knuckles as an intimidation tactic, he responded:
"There's no way I'd ever back down to a scumbag like you..."
This amused Torchwick. He chuckled and clicked his fingers, signalling for a White-Fang member to rush up to him and hand Torchwick a Grey Cane with a White Handle and a Red bottom.
"Oh please, you're making me blush! But, I don't think my Melodic Cudgel would be very happy if you didn't back down..."
Kenzo gave a fake yawn, mocking Torchwick's threats.
"Sorry, Grandpa! I'm not backing down, so go back to your nursing home!" Kenzo shouted.
The students inside the tents, fuelled by the courage Kenzo was displaying, began to come out of hiding and proudly stand against Torchwick. The White-Fang readied their weapons at the site of a potential war, but the man in the Black Coat raised his hand to stop them.
"Listen kid, I don't have time for this. All I want to do is kill that Skeleton-Boy. What was his name? Larry? Lenny? Uh...Loser?"
Kenzo could feel Lazarus begging to be let out, but he calmed himself, knowing that his deadly alter-ego would get his battle later. Kenzo then proposes a deal to his enemy:
"His name's Lazarus, and you'll get the chance to fight him. But, it won't be here and it certainly won't be with your army. It will just be you and me...One on one...First blood wins..."
Torchwick started laughing maniacally, pointing at Kenzo and gesturing for the White-Fang to join him. They ignored him and remained silent.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me! You!? Against me!?" Torchwick laughed, but slowly became quiet when he realised that Kenzo was completely serious.
"Yeah...Just me and you..." Kenzo replied calmly.
Torchwick's smirk quickly turned into a fierce scowl as he quickly raised his Cane. From the bottom end, a tiny scope appeared and flicked upwards. The Cane clicked and a bright burning flare burst out, rocketing towards Kenzo.
"I said I didn't want to fight here!"
Kenzo tensed as hard as possible, focusing his Aura. The air around him swirled like a vortex and the dead leaves fluttered into the sky. By the time the flare had come into contact with him, the light had faltered and died as the projectile bounced off the force-field Kenzo had created. Torchwick was stunned.
"What the...How the Hell did you do that!?" Torchwick demanded.
Kenzo turned around to see that his fellow students were awestruck. Even Ozpin, whom Kenzo thought had the answer to everything, was shocked by his Nephew. Kenzo couldn't help but chuckle to himself and shrug at Torchwick.
"Well, I've heard of protective Semblances, so I figured that I could use my Aura to protect myself. What? Never tried it yourself? Frankly, I'm not surprised!"
Torchwick shuddered with rage, putting down his Cane and cursing under his breath. He spat on the ground and forced a smile.
"Eh...I'm seen better..." He responded with a sickly tone to his voice.
Waving his right hand in the air, Torchwick silently commanded the White-Fang to leave. As they turned around and began marching off, he spun on his heel and tapped his shoe with his Cane. From seemingly out of nowhere, Neo appeared from behind him and waved towards Kenzo, winking seductively.
"Oh yeah! By the way, Neo really misses Lazarus!" Torchwick teased.
Neo quickly ran off to join the army whilst Torchwick leisurely strolled behind them. The man in the Black Coat had seemingly disappeared whilst the army was leaving. Kenzo was the only one left, watching the dust clouds of the army slowly fade away...
"Yang? Fancy a trip?"
In an instant, Yang was by his side, armed with her Shotgun-Gauntlets. She whispered in his ear:
"I thought it was just between you two..."
Kenzo whispered back:
"Yeah, but why would I trust him? He's an international criminal. I highly doubt that a guy like Torchwick would play fair..."
Yang nodded. Ozpin groaned, praying that his Nephew would survive. Indigo, Laura and Raphael watched as their leader went to fight. Ruby, Weiss and Blake silently hoped that Yang wouldn't get hurt.
Kenzo and Yang walked off, going to war...
